im currently riding yamaha spark ;)

 

just as mentioned by ariess here. but i think it would be easier if we talk in comparison with your spark. definitely you can't expect shadow to have same takeoff responsiveness as your spark. therefore, you will definitely be disappointed with the acceleration compared to what you are used to. but get it on the highway, and you will definitely feel the muscle

 

best of all, it looks good anywhere! ;)

Hi All just got me a slasher :) I saw it and fell in love wif it. Its old but looks a hundred percent stock and sound sad(hope to change tat soon). I got it at Atan at a high price though.I have always been a huge cruizer fan but unfortunately casue of my ego in my younger days have been on mostly sports bikes this is my first proper cruiser(not counting the rebel ta150 and ta200). I am bit lost when it comes to things like tyres obvioulsy slicks are not an options plus other maintaince stuff. Hope the gurus can help me along the way. I intend to keep it stock except the pipes still toying to operate or to get cobra(stock pipes really sound v sad). Is there any thing to look out for?

 

Any one know the original sprocket ratios(like how many teeth front and back). I am also suprise tat it is actually alot faster than i expected the bike to be. Anyways will keep you guys posted collecting it this week.

Think i've seen the bike at Atan. Purple color n quite new.

 

Its well groomed and clean (FV PLATE so not so old). Sounds ok frm my knowledge. He let me take it for a spin thats when i fell in love with it almost did not not want to go back now unfortunately have to wait till Saturday to collect cause no time this week.

I am not sure if its a steed or shadow but its a slasher. Hehe as u can tell i hate hondas despite owning so many.

I will upload pics once its on the rd. But the exhaust CMI and idle seems a bit higher. I will update soon.

 

I realise slashers are v rare in sg. Any one know y?

slasher is a shadow, and the more sporty looking cousin of the ACE. its like a cross between the ACE and Steed. actually steeds are also known as shadows in the US.

Like i said i paid t0o much hmm close to 6 k on the rd coe till 2021 though. Sporty looking yeah but its faster than i expected but these is my first twins and i did not get to test express way speeds. Heard it maxes out at 140 which is sad... But since no more mad blast on nsh it should be great for sg.

I dont mind a meet up let me know when.
