Our next bible study meeting is on the 16th Aug 08 as a big group of us is going on a Port Dickson ride on 2-3 August.. very very long period of waiting hor..

 

I suggest we go for Festival of Praise on 1st Aug 08 as a group. FOP is a yearly event organise by different churches in Singapore, main intent is to come together as a whole nation and pray for Singapore. It usually took place before National Day weekend. Having been to 2 of them, I would says its very very good and do not miss it.

 

Its on 1-3 Aug 08.

oh wow...

my church participated in the very first festival of praise in 2001 if i remember correctly..

come from quite a conservative background so i think my church didn blend very well with the way things were being organised, so we did not continue to participate in the coming years till now..

 

will join you guys to take a look on the 1st if all goes well for me.. should be free in the evening.. =]

Im bringing tyre tube and universal clutch cable.

 

Will be at motoworld@kaki bukit tml 5plus.. need rain boots and maybe waterproof spray for my raingears.. and rain boots.

bike. and 1 bottle of engine oil, haven't decided whether to

change before going for the trip or bring it as an emergency

item for the trip.

i always carry a tubeless tire repair kit (worm type) & 2 CO2 cylinder, plus 1 double action tire pump. Had used it twice in last 2 years in the midst of nowhere in malaysia - so its worth every cent. But note to repair your own tire yrself , you need either to have main stand or a helper to tilt the bike.
