oh yes...

 

d veri 1st joke Pastor Benny shared was abt how 1 church congregation in when asked for volunteers for children's church but no one answered..finally after several rounds of askin , a new member stood up n volunteered.. but he was a ex-motorcycle gang member, heavily tattooed, heavy arms ..

 

immediately few dozen rushed forward n volunteered...:)

 

cos they r scared a biker teach at d school...

What happened to this ex-motorcycle gang teacher in the end? Did he teach in e children church?

 

Remind me of something very funnie.. im helping at my church sun school, i used to invite edwin to come and play with the kids. Remember once, there was this gal who came to edwin and said:"my mummy said ppls with tattoo are bad guys!" and she walked away. Some other kids hang around him after a while thou. The kids are 5-6yrs of age.

funnie you used the word skinny :) he was never skinny to me. I think the PD photos are when he was serving NS.

 

oh yes, just want to share this.. i was sharing Johnny's testimony with my friend yesterday.. i got him to play e cd in his car while driving me home. At first e usual response, that type of cd again ar.. i passed him a few cd before. I told him, if after 10mins he din feel like listening, he can turn off.. guess what, he drove round and round till e CD end :)

 

i pray that God will touch him like Johnny.

today i went kulai eat beef noodle & pulai waterfall & eat durian with boldor thread riders. Before going, i did pray for His protective hands & good weather. Indeed the weather was good & there was a miraculous close shave. We were all buying durians at a stall which is directly below a durian tree. A durian suddenly dropped & missed a rider by inches. He was standing next to his scooter, when a 10" size durian dropped & bounced off his seat. Thank & praise Him for taking care of us.

 

Btw , only when i reach Lighthouse church for 7pm worship, then i realise His hidden grace & mercy. We must all thank Him everyday for hidden blessings & grace & mercy which sometimes we don't realise.

was told by the owner of this tree or durian farm, july will be the season to come. Exactly which date he also dunno.

If you study the pic closely, you'll notice the tree is laden with lots of big durians, but none is ripe yet.

i guess its a myth afterall. Ouch!! hope ur kid is okay. did u bring some durians home?? how do they taste?
