3. If time permits & based on popular demand, we'll visit Pulai mountain 2nd waterfall. The 1st waterfall is closed to public, but 2nd waterfall although not so impressive, has nice twisty roads surrounded by lots of durian trees. See pics below.

4. Depart to singapore when clock strikes 3pm.

The kind of distance we are covering will be around 200-300km.

my apologies for not able to come for pontian trip, yee kiat asked me to lead but i had some family problem at last minute, so couldn't come. I message Joelin in that early morning. I trusted our loving Father God has blessed the trip as usual.

For the ride report, there were 9 bikers, and one pillion.

it was a short short ride, about 200 km in all.

We found the noodle place in Pontian, and I must say it was worth finding, the noddles and dumplings were very delicious.

We then set off to the beach, but the tide was in, so no sandy area for launching kites, and there was not enough breeze to launch a kite anyway. So we decided to set off for Kukup.

 

We spent 2-3 hours at a seafood restaurant in Kukup, in the beginning quenching our thirst because it was such a hot day, but when the food came we were all hungry because we waited so long for it. It seemed that the waitress was not happy with us cos 10 people made such a small food order, so we got our makan last. But it worked out for us, as our hunger came back and nothing was wasted.

 

We then set back, 7 of us went via the 1st link, the biker with pillion went shopping in JB and one biker returned via the 2nd link. The heavens opened, and it was raining heavily on our return journey.

 

 

On a safety issue. The Malaysian trunks roads, especially those that are pounded by heavy trucks are littered with pots holes, uneven, and sometimes a landslide under the road may make it very uneven. . So sometimes when riding these roads, I may need to switch from the left side of the lane to the right side of the lane without time for making observations, because there may be a pot hole I am avoiding, or the surface of the road is such that it has unexpectedly forced me to switch. So for less experienced riders, can you please respect single file riding on the trunk roads.
