bro... from wad i read from his post, he's merely making a strong statement against dat particular shop and didn't flame you at all...

you're offering help to other fellow bikers as well so it's understandable to get mad... but a fellow biker had some really unpleasant encounters wit -cagiva specialist- regarding the settlement of a downpayment for a brand new cagiva raptor125.

do a search on dat shop's name inside "naked bikes" thread, topic dated jan16, posted by gundam zeke and select 30days and older for the results.

really sad, koz a old bird planeteer used to rate it highly among lbs....

well relax bros & sis, take a deep breath and let bygones be bygones okie?

ok honestly i not extremely impressed with Excel on a personal level, but know a couple of Duclati riders who are regulars and have little complaints,

 

So its really relative wether they are good or not... lets not turn this discussion on the shop lah...

 

our bikes are damn rare and there are only a few places we can go and feel satisfied, what if one day FM and Racewerks close(touch wood) and there is no other place that carries Cagiva parts and accessories?

Then how...

Actually it is all up to individual preferance. Once u let a particular meahanic to handle ur bike, u will tend to go back and find him for the rest of the time. Unless something bad or unhappiness crop up, then u will go and find someone else! Agree?

No hard feelings, we are all riders!!! Whatever we can help, we help one another.

Even though i ride a different bike model from u guys, but we still belong to the Italian family!

oh my, ive had my fair dealings with this shop. if u really need to know what they do, how they do it, u ask me. i bought my monster from there, a brand new one. on my NTUC insurance form, they liquid papered off the amount and marked up the amount by 10%. well, what does that mean to you?

 

just be wary, ya? esp when having to deal with the management.

 

sorry cagiva03, cant sell ya my filters. it comes together with the exhaust system.

im not a regular poster on this thread...but yes i own a MITO.

 

so i bought my bike like somewhere last year... was having a wonderful time on this bike it was perfect...everything swee except that i had not valve motor so my low end like sh*t....and petrol consumption like sh*t...

 

i bought the bike at a good price and changed lots of things like, tyres, carb, starter motor, steering cone, batt, cosmetic parts, clip ons, blah blah blah.

also spent a bomb to undergo full overhaul including block....

 

so there i was very happy with my bike even though no valve motor...

 

then one week before my B'day in sept, i got into an accident.... fairing pratically broke off on the left, tank dented badly, steering cone gone, fork alighnment gone, brakes damaged, foot peg broke in half, blah blah blah.

 

then i go repair...decided to spend on only engine and working parts and heck care the cosmetics, like fairing patch and spraywork...cos no money...

then i do all finish, still cannot find a good valve motor.

 

so now finally my bike is in FM doing evrything...valve motor, as well as fairing...im totally broke...need to wait 3 week before i can get my bike back and miss it like hell.

 

so for the 10 months i have owned this bike, i have probably only ridden it half the time, cos after accident a bit scared ah...

 

but yet i vow to keep this damned bike and ride it to its full potential before i change bike and move on to others....

What's a valve motor?

My low-end's also like sh*t, first gear full throttle will die out one.

 

My speedo just died on me.

Any idea what causes Mito speedo death and the cost of fixing / replacement?

Hi, the following pictures are the designs for the Mito T-shirt.

 

At the moment, there are no high resolution (minimum 300pixels per inch), ready-to-print designs submitted for the t-shirts.

 

So, when the designs are printed to scale with the t-shirts, they will look very pixelated, like those you see in the pictures.

 

I hope someone can submit the required logos soon, at least 300 Pix/inch, and MUST BE READY TO PRINT (properly scaled), meaning if its supposed to be 10cm in diameter, it must be scaled to 30cm in 300pix/inch resolution, or they will look horribly pixelated when printed.

believed dats the servo motor for the exhaust valve bah... the exhaust valve is actutated via cables from the servo motor... think dat died on him...

my planet's single meter was rumored to cost ard $500+ liao... think u'll like to look for 2nd hand ones instead. or like me la, install digital speedo for $30 nia...

Wah that means no servo motor = no throttle lah.

 

Just fixed the speedo today.

Lucky just need to replace speedo cable for $20.
