Hey as for the chalet izzit the one with escape park wan? It's been long time i never go for chalet. Anyway wat time u guy will be leaving there cos i will be finishing work at 10.30pm and no point to go down there if u guy had left.

Today I went down to Excel to shop for spares and also fix my brake and signal lights. Found the service and technical knowledge of the mech there quite satisfactory.

I did ask how much for a full service cost: carb & valve wash, change gear oil, sparkplug, oil filter for $75. Sounds reasonable I think. Maybe you can try there also.

It's my first time at tat shop, so i did ask the mech about the bad publicity regarding tat shop. After hearing him out, it seems that the bad publicity comes only from buying new bikes from the boss. Repairs-wise, seems fine IMO.

Maybe I'll consider switching from FM to Excel. But which shop you prefer it's entirely up to you though. :smile:

 

BTW, is there a difference between the PLAYLIFE handle grips tat Excel sells for $12 and LAB at $6? One genuine the other counterfeit? Or just the same?

Yea, I kinda got lost in tat area after coming out from Motorworld. Sorry I wasn't really noticing the vehicles around me cause trying to find my way to Eunos Link, but in the end got myself at Upp Paya Lebar Rd instead. :sweat:

Thanks for the compliment, but from far look nice, closeup a lot of work to be done still.

btw they change to iridium plugs or normal ones? can i just clean valve only? n how to go there? around eunos i very blurr sia.

PIE exit eunos, turn left in filter lane and headed straight all the way past by MotoWorld ride down bit more will see Shun Li industrial den Excel is inside. Its along the Honda phanthom row of shops...:goodluck:

Hm.. I didn't get his name. It was the lankier one. Always smiling smiling one. When I went there, he as fixing a scrambler.

 

syarif: The Playlife grips are all genuine and come in black/grey boxes? Regardless sold in LAB or Excel or anywhere else? If can buy at $10, then LAB's Playlife grips can be assumed to be counterfeit? Haha.. cause tat time I asked and was told they selling at $6. Now not very sure where to get the so-called original ones at the cheapest price.
