Whether Cook is arrogant or not, the most important thing is that he is one talented singer. Based on talent alone, he should win the competition. If based on popularity, then Archuleta should win. However, I'm OK should either of them win. If Syesha or Jason wins, then I've got an issue with that... o_O

Jason is a reggae, Jamaican wannabe. His singing is OK only. Nothing great. Amongst the top 4 contestants, I would rate him the weakest, singing-wise. I guess his appeal lies in his act cute facial expressions and his quirkiness. :)

 

Of all the nice songs that Cook put a new twist to, I can't believe that his 'Always Be My Baby' version is what is playing on the radio currently. :slapforehead: His

, 'All I Really Need Is You' or even 'Billie Jean' are way better lah... :p

I guess it is time for Jason to go tonight. He blundered big time yesterday with his second song,

Double standard. Brooke White forgot her lyrics once and another time, restarted her song once cos of wrong key when she was in the top 10. Both times, she was not voted out. I feel that Jason was out not because he forgot his lyrics but because he delivered the worst performances for that night... :puke:

the mosts song tht i like frm david cook is ''Always Be My Baby'' by M.Carey. the way he sing it was so damn good. i love it:thumb: i hope this time he Ã*s gonna b a true American Idol no doubt bout it.

As a musician, I find David's performances quite similar (boring). His improvisations are typical riffs which he uses again and again. He does have a good voice, i'll give him that. But in terms of creativity and talent, he is nowhere near Blake Lewis. In terms of musical expression, he's nowhere near Jordin Sparks. Remember her singing Broken Wings and This is my now?

 

This year's American Idol is quite dissapointing, with no outstanding competitors. The two Davids will battle it out in the finals, and finally it will be down to who gets the most votes (no big surprise here I guess).

I just finished watching the finale too! David Archuleta is good but my vote goes to David Cook because of the last song!! :cheer:
