Dun trust bike shop with 0 downpayment although i've been offered by 2 shops recently,At least low downpayment is better than nothing subject to bike price. If the bike is under 8k then 500-800 is better than nothing. If superbike worth 28K only goondoos will ask for 1-2k d/p.Some peoples they cant afford to give high d/p but no problem paying installments,Some vice-versa.The one that i hate most is riding those 1000cc bikes worth 20 over k but manage to put 3K d/p only,Thats almost suicide sial.Got a friend very naive d/p just 1k for GSX-R1000K9 and loan for 7 years with monthly of over 400sgd!Then funny thing change to Yoshi full system,Branded tyres,Etc..Wah piang eh.Recommend him 600cc also dun want,Too slow la.WTH is this bugger thinking?

That guy is just cheating himself.

He is spending $$$ on something he cannot afford, yet probably chose not to see the picture.

He will probably have a hard, hard time trying to sell off the bike w/o incurring a huge loss.

1K for a 20K odd bike does not make sense to anyone who does simple sums before committing.

haha who dig 2 year old thread..

It is still relevant, I guess. :)

There will be no lack of people with poor financial sense.
