woo found the thread, was looking for it few days back then. yeah i guess i will give a skip, probably try other short trips first. i guess i will only drag the rest of the guys down -_- one year, i will come again with a translap if i could find one

this trip is still pended by a couple of riders...if still response is nt as expected.i shall cease the trip by group and go up alone.to koh samui and phuket.

just curious of the update. the outcome is you are going alone? if you are going along, when is your set off time and date?

 

Lastly, is your hp auto roam? my sg hp is auto roam 96881210. but i usually use thai sim card in thailand. my thai sim card number is 0896983953.

of course with a more powerful bike allows u to tour more comfortably..

Yo guys,

 

If you guys are coming down to Patong, there are 2 new places that just opened.. Hollywood disco & Roxy Agogo.. Forget Hollywood disco, it's like an army canteen with wierd vibes.. Roxy is worth checking out.. Lots of gals have migrated from Rock Hard to Roxy.. Nice setup with pool tables, upper and lower floors and a round dancing podium.. :p

 

They also opened a new 24 hour Mcdonalds and Starbucks right at Soi Bangla..

 

I just made a trip from Phuket to Ao Nang beach, Krabi.. If you guys like a quieter place to chill, that's the place to be.. Similar to Patong but much cozier, cheaper and less chaotic.. A honeymoon suite at a 5 star resort costs about SGD80.. Do visit Soi RCA..

Haha.. Working here full time will get you settled.. Over the weekend, I do hang out with my friends over a couple of drinks.. Was at Club Lime last week with Ministry of Sound.. Not too bad.. The decor and music is very similar to the highend clubs at Singapore.. You drop by lar, I'll bring you around.. :p

Housing in Phuket is currently one of the highest in Thailand itself.. Prices of small villas are 6 million Baht & up.. That's about SGD250,000.. I'm putting up at a private villa due to my work which cost about USD7,500 a night.. Won't be able to afford it if it's not my job.. :p

 

Thailand is indeed a great place to work.. Nice environment, nice people and lots of new places to explore as a biker.. I'll be heading to Ao Nang, Krabi once again next weekend.. Bringing my team for team building.. Will be heading to Hua Hin and Chiang Mai on my next vacation.. 2 bikers doing the Long Way Down Asian version.. Hehe..

 

I'm thinking of starting a Thailand thread to keep all bikers informed of the places to visit.. Since I'm now stationed here, it makes things a lot easier.. Thinking also of organizing with a local restaurant/pub on a SG bikers place with discounts, entertainment, etc..
