i've juz checked out the HTC Touch Diamond at the PC Show in Sun Tec. Specs are good and it looks good too. However, it doesn't have a keypad so i won't recommend it to users who love to sms.

yeah i hv a touch cruise and it's soooo slow...anyway the touch screen for sms is very cumbersome. looks wise is nice though

I saw it selling for $1098 without any plans at some shops in Funan the IT Mall... :)

its problematic....

 

got myself a touch diamond 2 weeks ago.

 

yes its problematic and laggy for the first few batch with the old roms.

but its touchflow 3D is much smoother and faster, and most of the important bugs are fixed with the recent 1.37v rom.

 

good thing about WM phones is that u can fine-tune it to perfection by playing ard with its registry. but remember to backup all your files before doing so in case the phone crash. haha.

 

currently quite satisfied with it. comes with auto gps and Mapking2007 as well.

no keypad but sms is easy to get used to with its selections of text input methods.

 

pros:

-fun and impressive new interface for WM6.1

-autofocus cam

-touch sensitive navigation buttons

-gps

-wi-fi

-internal memory of 4gb

-fm radio

-weather updates

 

cons:

-standard battery capacity is only 900mAh.

-no flash for camera

-no memory expansion slot

-music quality is inferior compared to my prev SE walkman phone

-phone gets rather hot after using gps for some time

-fingerprint magnet.
