Ubi there got make license plate. Btw, it might be because your sticker is sticking on a curved or uneven surface, not just the metal plate thing. Not too curve still not so bad.

my last inspection oso was told i need to change to metal. he didn fail me but he did warn me that technically my sticker was no-go.

He explained to me the rationale/regulation: if the entire sticker is sticking onto an even surface with no bumps/steps underneath to distort the sticker, the sticker is allowed. the surface can be curved (windshields are all curved anyway rite), but the critical thing is the sticker must be fully on even surface along the curvature. a simple example is a double-bubble screen; the transition between the upper bubble and lower bubble creates a sort of 'step' that distorts the sticker, hence sticker is not allowed.

i'll be changing mine at my next servicing at shop. old liao dun care so much about looks, uncle gahmen tell me to put metal aiyah wateva lah.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

Same as the above riders, was told smooth curved surface no problem. If the surface has any unevenness, no go.
