i don't think changing spark plug does much for a bike. but i think 2000km is abit soon to change spark plug. how's the Engine Oil?

This is my first time using Maxima extra 15w-50 so far changing gear is a little rough but when u are at higher speed it ok but i think this engine oil is not suitable for this bike or i have to change to a 20w-40 type.(now using 15w-50) if u follow the manual this is the type u should used but i chk few forum on this bike to use 15w-50 maybe after 2k i will try Motul 300v i heard is good. What about you?

I used Penzoil full synthetic....so far so gd. Btw better don use engine oil that has high viscocity. XXw-40 is already gd enough. To me, XXw-60 is too much....those are more for scooters

I used Pennzoil before. Smooth for about 500km, then it felt normal. Currently on Yamalube, i think it's quite crappy. But bo pian since I service bike at Hong Leong. About the IU unit, mine's mounted on handlebars, blocks the speedometer abit. No issues with the vibration, maybe I'm used to it.

Fully synthetic oil i tried on my FZ are rockoil & Penzzoil...

Rockoil just after 2k km and the gear shift start to feel stiff...

Penzzoil a little better, about 2.7k km then the gear start to feel stiff...

U may have a F$#K UP Boss..

Be thankful..

Coz there are worse ones out there.....

Something to share...

Had replaced both my tryes to shinko-SR877 (looks like a cross breed between michelin pilot sporty and Maxxis diamond)...

Due to my rear BT39 going botak @ just 6.5K km of usage....

Good grip on dry and wet...

Now got to see how long it can last....

ya mine is about 6.8-6.9k rpm when it shows 100km/hr.. Sometimes higher i guess..depends on several factors if I am not wrong.. Have u changed ur eo/plug/oil filter? Maybe its a long time since u changed any of them? cos once I had to reach about 7.5 - 8k rpm to reach 100km/h.very draggy ride cos my engine feels rough..changed those 3 stuff..everything feels much much better..smooth and lesser rpm to reach 100..just my 2 cents

yup did change all those but it still need to drag 8k to get 80km/hr..somehow my speedo seems to be loose can push upwards easily ..is it suppose to be that way?

Is there anything wrong with the petrol pump in ur bike? When u switch on ur bike(not start), u should hear a sharp pitch sound. That shows that the petrol pump is still working.

Hello everybody! I just bought my 2nd hand fz150i (FBD plate) a few weeks ago. Anything i should know more about this bike?

I always top up my bike after 300+ km and the top up amount around 8L.

Also, recently my chain make some funny noise, how often do i have to lube the chain? Sorry abit noob, just pass 2b also.

Thanks

bought it at M1. but i already brought it to the shop to fix the problem. the chain just needed tightening. glad i chose the fz150i over the cbf or pulsar

It is better to lube the chain more often during this period of time as it is rainy season.
