I just bought a 2nd hand FZ150i, and the biggest thing that i'm concerned about is that it cannot hit 100km/h. Don't know if my meter is spoilt, but i full throttle for about 1km, yet the speedometer stuck at 90+.

in my opinion,d common factor dat makes fz150i unresponsive is bigger tyre size than standard..

d engine power had designed fr specified size tyre...in my opinion,d biggest tyre dat can be fitted into our bike is 90/80 front & 100/70 rear (plz take note dat 100/70 size is vry2 rare in spore or almost unavailable...100/80 is common here) ...100/80 cannot be used fr our bike if u want all in package = 1)power 2)top speed 3)pick up 4)fuel saving ...

 

100/70 is a standard size tyre for new clutch LC 135 (in spore called Spark 135)...wheel rim size is 2.50 inch fr d rear while our bike is juz 1.85...

well,i read up all the comment bout tis bike..n yeah,got 3 choice of bike on my mind now spark 135,x1r n fz150i...well,my TP next 3weeks but wat im gonna to do,once i pass i straight go to asphoon at ubi to choose either 3 of the bike..but yeah,fz is my first choice,if not available,go next shop at de xing..so,i will choose on of the bike upon available...seems tat the only nearest place to get 2nd bike...any advice??

buy fz150i....cz it'll save ur pocket alot...cz u can pump petrol in JB...hehe

So far,i'd done travelling anywhr in m'sia&thai w/o any prob...clocked 78K km in juz 2yrs 1mth....

ride at least 2000km/mth &up to max 5000km/mth....

most important is to mantain EO&OF well..thn d bike will perform d best

people,i've mod my fz150i at jb total expendeture is 3k++rm..cc upgraded to 175 with uma racing block,brake master pump changed,racing footrest,ecu daytona,cdi,gearbox r15,i cleared my meter around 185 dat time,modified coz i played at pasir gudag,exhaust i use the stock one but "kopek" sound like drz yoshimura a lil bit..plan to get legal exhaust for on da road use..my advise,only modify it if u seldom use ur bike or if u use it to play track other than that dun coz racing block wear and tears quickly..
