Hi,

I was walking ard Kinokuniya when this cover caught my eye. Take a look:

http://www.visordown.com/motorcyclenews/view/yamahas_new_250_racer_for_the_road/4845.html

A search on the Net came up with this also. A 250 and 450 cc Yamaha 4 stroker?

http://www.yamaha-zonar.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=412446

Will we finally see some sweet looking bikes for 2A riders? Been some time since the NSR250 and TZR250. And of cos the Aprilia 250. All 2 strokers and looks so much nicer than my old S4.

Then again, will a 4-stroke 250cc bikes appeal to someone who probably upgraded from a 150cc 2 stroker?

Have a pleasant ride/ day.

Hardcore

The R4 doesn't look too shabby..But is there a market for 450 seein that for 2A we're allowed only up to 400cc and 400cc and above for Class 2..Do you reckon anyone will be interested in a 450cc when they get their Class 2?

I have tried to see things from your point of view..But no matter how hard I try..Or what I do..I just can't get my head that far up my butt..

Maybe its Yamaha's rebutttal to Kawasaki who just launched their fuel injected Ninja 250R. The bike seems to be popular when launched in Europe and Japan. Seems like theres a demand for this category.

Practical Test Checklist:

√ Sudden and late braking

√ Faulty signal lights

√ Superb use of horn

√ Assume road belongs to father

√ Never at fault no matter what happens

√ Tailgating confidence

Result: YES! You qualify to become a Singapore car driver!

there shldnt be 2A in 1st place. Just 2B and 2 enough alrdy. I don't see much different in the handling between a 2A and a 2 bike.

that i dis-agree...

the weight difference between the 2 class can be a killer...

unless you are comparing a 400 with a 600...
