My NTUC insurance for 1st party is $1095. If for Kawasaki 636, I think should be cheaper or around that price cos I heard that the premium for Kawasaki is expensive. You can try asking them for a quotation through this link... :goodluck:

Hey dude!!!! Excellent!!! Im riding the 05 (green : cos if it aint green it ain mean!)

 

Bout the Akra, its cost $980.00 but u must get someone to fix it n pay for the inspection fees. But think if we can get 2 at the same time we can get better price? Im installing the pipe myself anyways. Its simple to install anyways.

 

:btw: have u got frame, fork, swingarm sliders??

If you can afford the most expensive big sportsbike in Singapore which is the Kawasaki, then go ahead with it. If not, there are always other options available. Having the passion is great but please make sure that you are able to maintain and service the installments, servicing, road tax, and insurance of your sportsbike... :goodluck:

Thanks for the advice ... just dun want to spend too much on insurance ... cos personally i find it the least meaningful item on the expenses list ... at least $ spent on instalments, tyres, mods can bring enjoyment in return ... insurance premium doesn't benefit anyone other than the insurer :sian:

True to a certain extent. You won't be thinking like this though should your brand new bike buang (touchwood) and the repairs cost thousands of dollars. It is for this reason that I bought 1st party cos my R1 is my first 1000cc sportsbike. I'd rather pay more and have a peace of mind where everything is covered should some unforeseen accident happens to my bike... :sweat:

:sorry: guys cos have to hog this thread a bit. Just to answer Aya's question. I love my R1 cos of its gorgeous looks and I love Gixxers for its power and performance. I've ridden the 400cc Gixxers for 11 years of my riding life so I guess old habits die hard... :sweat:
