Hi forumers,

its been really hot recently, anyone have experience with such jackets in our environment and can comment on the effectiveness?

Seen a Revzilla review on the Rev'it Tornado 2 which seems good.

So far I didn't manage to find a good cooling jacket for our weather. In the end I remove my back protector and can feel the major improvement in cooling. Haha

I think you mean mesh jackets? There's no such thing as "evaporative cooling"...

I'm wearing a Alpinestars T-GP-R Air with CE back protector. It's cool while riding but hot while stationary. To me, some sweat is unavoidable. If you wanna ride without the back protector it's up to you too but I think that defeats the purpose of wearing a jacket, might as well don't wear.

Actually, there are. I'm also interested in one that isn't too expensive. You soak the jacket ( or a liner ) in water, squeeze out excess water, and put it on. Once you start riding, it cools you down. The downside is that you need to re-soak it every few hours. Apparently, it's quite effective and cheaper than other forms of cooling jackets.

I wear a compression cool suit bought off Carousell and keep a shirt/Tshirt in the bag or box until I reach my destination.

Feels cooler as the evaporative effect is improved and also jacket stays fresh for a longer time in between washes.

Any other tips to keep cool in SG while practicing ATGATT?
