anyway i really learnt my lesson but to LTA they dun care and still want to charge me.

 

my offence was altered coupon.dunoe if the punishment will be jailtime and fine or not.i jus drove my parent car and did not noe that by altering the date will be so serious.

somemore use a tape to tape back the wrong date.i realise my mistake already but i tink the court dun give a damn and only want to give me the max punishment.

 

so the lesson i learnt when u r driving or riding .must comply with the law strictly.dun be like me bo chap attitude will make me lose my job soon and my future.

ALtering or trying to make changes on your parking /drving coupon is aint that serious...

 

The most is you get charge for

 

1: CHeating... you will be looking at a POSSIBLE JAIL term as the coupon is a sort of a offical document from the gahment. First timer or not... a deterent sentence is a must.

 

2: Hefty fine such as.. how much you plan to save from folding or altering the coupon.. say bout 2 bucks? well times it bout 10000 times of the amount.. Ok not to scare you.. maybe from 5K onwards

 

 

OR the worst case scenario is...you get CHARGE for both.

 

Mean they jail you and fine you... and maybe you will get a shot at fame appearing on papers.

 

Anyway dont worry so much... if you got jail they aint gonna jail you for more than 1 yrs..maybe less.. so take it easy.

 

Oh yeah did i say once you go jail you will have criminal record? and a record for cheating WILL not be erased and it will be for life...

nope, will just read out your name, offence (time, place etc). ask you plead guilty or not, and if you wanna plead for leniency. Usually, many just say plead guilty, judge then issues "statement" blah blah, the most important is you listen how much is the fine, go to "payment room", once pay it off, you're free to go.

 

you can plead for leniency though, it might help, it might not. if you're not the 1st few, best, as you can check out how the judge work. if he gives minimum fine for those infront, then good for you.

 

the prosecutor acts for lta, and will obviously ask for the maximum fine to be imposed on you.

 

i dunno if it's gonna be the same if you're a p.s or c.s. though, but i've neber heard of prosecutor saying out the occupation of the accused. just the above. so good luck on your case. i doubt it'll affect your career.
