Bike leans to the right while going straight

Hi everyone,

I don't know if this is the correct place to post this but I can't find any other sub forum that is more relevant.

I ride a Kawasaki Z1000 and I have this problem of my bike leaning to the right while it is going straight. When I try to correct it to an upright position, it will drift left.

I went to 3 different mechanics but all 3 said that they could not feel the lean. Only one of them said that he could feel a little bit which was of no concern but he ended up doing a fork alignment. But even after that, it was still the same.

I have checked my posture with my friends and they said it was fine.

I have also tried riding other bikes and they were fine, no lean, no drift.

It also typically feels that way when I go above 80km/hour. This might also be the reason why the mechanics couldn't feel it because they did not go up expressway to test it.

I'm at my wits end and I really hope someone can tell me what is wrong. I have been really stressed about this for the past 6 months. I've owned the bike for the last 2 years and this only started in the last 6 months..:giddy:

I only changed my tires... But it has nothing to do with the tires' date=' as I changed it twice to confirm.[/quote']

Hmm... Wierd. Your forks adjustable? Just maybe someone played with the settings on one fork. Otherwise, something on the bike twisted. Really hope it's not the latter.

Are the wheels balanced after tires changed? Since you mentioned it happens after 80km/h.

What will not balancing the will do? The lean does occur below 80 but not as bad as after 80. But none the less, I will check with the mechanic. Thanks for the advice!

You'll need to narrow it down quick, what's the history of this bike?

Yea, I thought I've tried everything, but some suggestions here have allowed me to continue in hopes of rectifying it.

That's the problem, the bike has no history of drop or accident. At least not in my care. I've owned this bike for 1.5 years before this feeling came about. The only "major" problem was a punctured tire last year.
