1st hand on 2nd hand car? Need help/opinion...

Hello guys i'am looking for a car to play around with. So what car should i buy for a starter...should i go for a dunno how many hand civic or a first hand car?

 

My plans are

Building the car from the ground up

Sell it or scrap or trade it in 3-4yrs time

Powerfull and cheap

2door preferred but 4 door is ok

Not your average family car

Boy racer image...hahah!!

 

If i buy a 1st hand car i have to mod the car myself and i dont really have to worry bout the engine much cos it's a first hand...only need to add a few parts like ECU, bucket seat, turbo...etc etc

 

For 2nd car the price is kinda cheap and some cars, the ex owner have already have some racing parts installed....

 

So need some good opinion please?

you better buy second hand car if you want to play with it.

 

i recommend you a 9 yr old Porsche 911 C4, only about $200k.

after that can renew COE. already modded quite nice.

Rims alone is $12k, body kit is $8k, other parts about another $20k to $30k

 

i also tempted to buy....
