squeeze in erp car park

i believe many have the experience squeezing thru the erp-like car park,some with CCTV, and yellow box for motorcycle to pay.

is it an offence??

what are the consequences ??

I've been werkin for mcd for about few months & its nearest carpark uses erp-like system. I've not payed even a single cent for parking over at dat area. everytime i squeeze out, yet nothing happens.

my hdb carpark is using the gantry system also

bought season parking for 1mth after that i just follow closely behind the vehicle infront me and exit or squeeze out

Still tantamount to an offence, albeit a civil one. If the carpark operator wants to pursue against you, they have a valid case. But it's usually too much of a hassle for them as they have to take the trouble to summon you to small claims over a few cents.

 

But if the problem is too rampant, they may take drastic measures....

What do you mean by squeezing? Are you referring to the one where the so-called gate that opens and closes by swinging up and down is too short and hence provide ample space for motorcyclists to bypass the "gate"? I thought that kind of gate is intentionally meant for motorcyclists to park for free?

hahaha just got an experience with the barrier earlier on. was at greenridge shopping centre. was following behind van, and didnt notice the barrier coming down. that was at the exit though. so will they take actions because i went out with the card slot in the IU unit. but it just that i didnt realised i was suppose to stop. gosh.

once went to civil service club, and i see the swing barrier is short , so i tried to squeeze but i think my box hit the barrier and it dropped ..

the warden dashed out and demand 200 for fixing it.

luckily i saw some cable ties lying on the floor, so i tell her to tie it back lor...

i believe the barrier already koya before my box hit it.

after fixing it up the manager came and say i was "cheating" .wtf

i worked as carpark warden before, and it cost more than 200. saw the receipt my sup gave me when he ordered a new one. haha. but its normal when car usually bang the barrier, and have to fix it, screw and cable tie it. troublesome.
