btw, which bike shop have the best installment rate?

intending to buy Super4 BUT buying from a seller makes me think twice. ):

you need to c.o.i thats why ah if buy from seller? i also super anti coi. imo its too much of a risk to take.

Why is it COI is risky? Is it the paper work is tough or something? Loophole? yes? no?

paperwork doesnt really protect you much. cos the bike is legally still under the previous owners name and it will be a tough civil case to fight. even if you can win, do u want to put yourself through the agony of lawyers fighting here and there, not to mention the legal fees? so coi is based on trust that when the installments have ended, the owner will transfer the ownership to you. if you look under the legalities section of this forum, u will see that there are a few cases of the prev owner not signing over the ownership even after installment ended and claiming that the bike is still his.

also dudes, what are your tire pressures? And how often do you pump it?

I got mine 2nd hand so they are Michelin Z17 tires, i do not see any pressure rating on them. Wonder how to pump sia...

front tyre 225, rear tyre 240. that's for me. not sure about the rest. using BT39.

Tyre stats:

100/60 = 220

110/60 = 240

Michelin pilot sporty

or

you can go to the michelin webby.. they will teach you a thing or 2 on bike tyre.

Need some opinion on this.

Went to Republic Motor to check on a Super4 VerS. Really interested to get it but here's the thing that bothers me.

 

Machine Price: $3.8

Road Tax: not sure

Transfer Fee: $280 [is it this expensive]

Documentation Fee: god knows how much.

 

Total would be around $4.6k

 

To my knowledge, i thought the process is short and sweet. I transfered my bike to the buyer with relative ease without any extra documentation. Im wondering what's this documentation they are talking about.

Is it some kinda agreement or something? Republic Motor is super good in rep man!

Transfer fee cannot be that high. Ask them to go LTA webby and do that transfer estimate for you..
