one of thing to tackle with gear changing problem can be engine oil. One of the indicator.. If not.. maybe the stepping down and stepping up might do some help to see if your clutch pad is worn or not.

else... Just open it up and take a look @ a bike shop lo :)

Yay, bike called 'debbie'

Ok thanks! will check them out!

sry ah nudge i inject some info. Forges go to ah boy, get the 0902 Hella and ask them to install. I bought mine with borsch relay at $35 w/installation.

Most shops now bring in hella from India, Un*que selling the same india 0902 at $75

The horns are aggressive sounding and they really grab attention. I've tried daelim's horn, stebel horns and hella twin tone. This 0902 is the best sounding. First time i tried it on a 20 seater bus eating into my lane, i gave one good one and the bus literally jerked back into his lane.

Regarding exhaust. I think i was the 1st R125 to install the Ixil Shorty, at that time it was illegal, kept begging Ronnie and Roy to get the Certification documents from Ixil to say that the pipe is road worthy and under EU standards and Lab tested.

Finally got the CKA letter requesting for Vicom to inspect + the Lab certification from Ixil.

Brought to Vicom Kaki Bukit, paid at the booth and inspected on the spot. Let them inspect the emission, sound dB, take photos. then they will issue you a Vicom Cert to say this exhaust has met singapore standards and is street legal.

Next time TP stops you, produce the cert and show them the Vicom stamp.

I believe all exhaust shld come with a silencer. does not necessarily be a stubby tiny tube sticking from within the main exhaust to classify as a silencer.correct me if i'm wrong:angel:bcoz my shorty had 2 removable silencers

hello peeps, i have a concern i like to share with you all. Background info:

Air pressure i pump in tyres, 30-33 PSI

Tyre type: Michelin Pilot Power

Today while riding back from work, i was approaching a hump which had a metal plate over it and it was after a shower. I freewheeled to the hump (ya i was just being naughty and wanted to just cruise to it instead of braking later) and while doing so, i saw a kup coming from my left, so i clutch out and while doing so, my back wheel slid, somehow managed to recover but that was scary.

It happened earlier about 2 weeks back too in my car park as i was turning, my back wheel slid while on a wet metal grill covering a drain. That slide was not as bad, the tyre quickly recovered traction.

Just wanna ask, does it happen to you so often?! And i guess freewheeling is not advisable? Anyone knows if it will affect stable riding?

Thanks. Wondering if i should change the tyres but they are rather new, looks good, no balding at all. Grooves all look like brand new.

JUST MY 2 CENTS ..

no need change of tyre..just remember when going pass slippery road mark or metal grills just slow down.. anyway micheline never fails i think so..

personally haven try before micheline pilot power but if your tyre base is not soft nor sticky compound , please remeber to slow down during wet times..

Oh ya.. btw our bike n tyre size not able to take the stress like class 2 bike when u suddenly clutch out.. it will lock the rear tyre

(i remember class 2 bike have some system able to clutch in n down gear without locking up the rear wheel. cant remember the specific terms)

And freewheeling is not advisable and is will affect your balance..if u freewheel and u hit a rock , u are going to say byebye to mother-earth..detail too complicate n long.. lazy to say here ..lol

Just remember to slow down , NO free-wheeling and no need change of tyre..

paiseh..another question. Today my battery can't start the bike leh. Usually i will ride to work everyday about 10-12km. Hope that is far enough to charge up daily. Anyway, yesterday i didnt ride and today i try starting, cannot start. I try try try..starter "eee...eee..eee...eee" twist throttle, put to 2nd gear, run with bike try to jump start. Cannot. After about 2 mins, i got on bike, try again.

Vrroom vrroomm..can. But i worry later one day, while in city or what after parking cannot start. Should i change battery? THe previous owner said he just change before he sold me, he's quite a nice guy, family man. Dun think he will lie.

What i did, to jump start is ok right? Will spoil bike? Its only like 2 months, so fast battery si kiao kiao?

Also some background info, weekends i usually dun ride. Monday can start bike. Just this time can't. Wonder is it cos of heavy rain that day? Cold affect battery?

What do you all do if the battery can't start? Besides change battery.

hard to tell what the prob is leh. can be alot of factors. i think if u wan go install a voltmeter. then you can tell whether is your bike not charging your batt properly not. but for now best is go cka and tell them. esp now your bike under warranty right? any small thing also just go there hahaha
