Good day everybody :cheeky: , i have a question to ask bros here for advise.

I am getting a 2nd hand bike from a guy, but i do not know the procedures.

The issues are:

1. He has made his full settlement & when i buy from him, i will be payin him full cash oso. Will not be taking any loan from any finance company.

2. How do i go about making for myself the insurance and transfer of ownership and etc...those paperworks to be done?

I sincerely thank in advance for ur replies.

should be ok to get a quotation...just call the insurance company up...

they would probably ask

1)what bike model/type

2)ure age

3)date of passing

Most likely you will need to lay up the bike till you finally pass your TP..:cheeky:

09/07/2009 - Passed 2B TP (10th attempt)

I have tried to see things from your point of view..But no matter how hard I try..Or what I do..I just can't get my head that far up my butt..

hmmm, process flow for buying a bike w/o license is,

1) Check the bike, test the bike INSIDE carpark.

2) GO to LTA and process transfer of ownership, got the paper and PAY the owner the amount you guys agreed on

3) Ask the current owner to pillion you back to your house as the bike will still be under his name on the day of transfer.(Remember to pump petrol b4 heading home, you will be liable for the fees of petrol ok?)

4) Laid up your bike at the carpark near your house and HDB personnels.(dunno about this)

But confirm is laid up UNTIL you got your bike license...

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...

Please proceed to this website/web link if you guys have any technical issues on Kawasaki Kips/KR150, I'll update the 1st POST as and when there's a new question. Newbies questions on the top as well. :)
