wat parts u wanna powder coat?? jus a quick reminder.. u gotta dismantle the parts yurself and clean up the existing paint if u have any on. if u are powder coating a custom made part.. make sure u sand the surface properly.. or it will show in the end product. lastly, theres a few shops in defu lane. i can guide u there if u want to .. i dunno the shop address and name... hahahhaa.. but i remember the location. oh and btw.. i powder coated my handle bars... not bad :smile:

they wont do any prep work for u. and my handle bar is in my sig... theres a link to my photo album in there .... if u seriously wanna do, just pm me when u wanna meet me.. yeah? then u can ask me all the questions when we meet haha... easier also.

nice link..

just want yr guys opinion. I want to change the color of my footpegs and rearset to black. Should i anodize them or powdercoat them so that i would get the least amt of scratches when i step on them...

 

parts are from r1 btw.. thx for the help

anodize will not last . U can c that on the those anodize brake lever.When time pass there's wear & tear due to fiction. Powder coat i'm not sure but heard for my supplier it will last ever fiction was add to the surface . The only thing that the powder coat will chip off is that only when there's a impact to the surface .

dont think thats powdercoat leh..powdercoat is using electrons on the metal. the "color" will "eat" into the metal.. ithink those levers are actually sprayed or surface coated only. i anodised my motard rims the other time..quite lasting..

 

but i do agree powdercoating does look more scratch resistent
