eh y play luque? i personally feel dat he still has not come to terms with the physical play of the premiership... i admit he is technically very good but seems abit too weak to challenge for the ball...

i tink Luque need to be exposed to more games... he has the ability to create chances and score goals..

siberski is really a true unsung hero. Went in, do his job, and with effectiveness. If newcastle wins uefa cup, he might be easily, newcastle player of the season. But still, largely depends on the performance of newcastle in the EPL.

 

Luque, if he only scored within the 1st min. He would have up his value! ahhaa. After that chance, even the commentator was having a go @ him! Quite surprised that we played left wing, as his speed is not an asset, but he do deliver deadly cross with his left. As efficient as solano from right back.

 

my hope: extend the form of european games to local games!!!

Yeah we won...but shall i say it was not a great win...i mean we shall have won at least 3 nils...not being negative here...it just not our luck to trash pompey but hell yeah FINALLY we are seeing the newcastle team tat we enjoy to see...

The Magpies indeed had a great game. Its been so long since we last see them out play their opponents. Two thumbs up. :thumb: :thumb:

 

Just feel that Martins kinda get real frustrated of the supplies given to him and doesnt want to stay. He's such a great player (touches, technics, speed) but didnt have the services that he wanted. Maybe thats the diff btw Italian and English football. Hopes he gets settled quickly and the goals real soon so that he wont feel frustrated and pledge his stay.

 

SAD NEWS

Few more to the injury list(surprisingly all midfielders):-

1) Parker

2) Milner

3) Dyer (have you seen his cut on the thigh? damn deep man)

4) N'Zogbia ???

 

Maybe its a break for Luque to get him a few games to settle down

must sell some players first before they can buy new ones... Sell off Luque and Bramble... Buy a good and strong centre back... Hopefully can win either the FA cup, league cup or even the UEFA cup.. Better still treble... :cheeky:

If not for injury i think dyer have the potential to be a world class and well regconized player...for now i think only the geordies really know how brilliant he is...
