Just checked with the bike shop I frequented and bought all my rides there.

 

They have a 2011 black-coloured Fazer 800 with half fairings.

 

If trade in, the shop will take in my current ride for about $1,000 (the owner of the shop said they will export it).

 

hahaha.

 

I just checked OneMotoring, actually my COE is due on 24 July 2016. hahaha.

 

I traded in my 10yr old fz6 for a fazer 8 as well in 2014. So far quite happy with fazer 8 on sg roads. :smile:

How do you find your ride??

 

I find the power of my FZ8 quite scary leh...

 

Like throttle a bit, then it will hit 99km/h on AYE.

 

I scared of TP laser camera.

 

hahaha...

 

Also, I think it drinks petrol more than my 06 FZ6.... hahaha.

The radiator on my Gen1 Fazer FZS1000 is leaking.

 

Any one scrapping their Gen1 Fazer FZS1000??

We can swap + top up from me.

 

Or anyone knows where I can get a second hand radiator for Gen1 Fazer FZS1000??

I am gentle on my twisting and I do not rev up a lot. Change gear at around 3K rpm, I think. hahaha. :)

Yah drinks slightly more petrol. I get around 18-19km/L. My fz6 gets 19-20km/L and the tank is smaller also around 220km reserve tank liao.

Accelerates better than fz6 for sure and no need to rev. Cruising at 100km/h around 4200rpm on 6th gear. But if rev past 6000rpm will become quite scary.

My FC for both FZ6 and FZ8 is about the same as yours.

 

The 100km/h at around 4200rpm is slimilar to yours.

 

As for the rev past 6000rpm, I still dare not try yet. hahahaha.

Hello guys,

 

I ride a CB 400 Revo currently and am thinking of upgrading once I get my Class 2.

 

Can someone let me know the tank range for FZ1 and FZ8. I mean while riding in Singapore as well as in Malaysian highway(maintaining say 160+kmph).

I know that FZ6 has a bigger tank and better gas milage which gives it a good range, but am not sure about bigger sisters.

Hi guys

 

Is there anybody selling the rear mud guard as recently I went for inspection my bikes. The inspector informed me to install the original mud guard instead the after market type. It was for safety purpose. I was very confuse that why does a mud guard can do when comes to safety feature. Is there anybody can enlighten me or where can I buy a cheap original mud guard instead the yamaha agent spare part departments.

Servicing will be abt $150 depending on brand of oil. Tyres front and back abt 300. U buy my fz6 can ride another 3600km before servicing and 10000km before tyre change Hahaha
