For a '06 FZ6 without fairings, with Yoshi end-cans, FBA plate, roughly how much will the price for it?

 

Saw one such bike at a bike shop along Bukit Merah Lane area.

 

Also, how much will it cost for a main-stand to be installed?

 

Where can it be done?

a frn of mine is selling it and he claims that it can be mounted to FZ1 or FZ6...

his side panniers comes with the original rack...

sounds like a FZ6 naked version.. did u check the condition, the mileage, the asking price? how many owners before?

Yes, it is the "naked" version, the head-light is like a "heart" shape. I have checked out the condition, turned on the bike, started the engine. Pretty good condition, mileage is about 45,+++ km.

 

I have checked One Motoring. Think if I understnd correctly, the bike is on "laid up" now.

 

The shop wanted SGD10K. So plus all the insurance and road tax, the OTR price is SGD 11K.

 

I know it is a little too expensive (SGD 1K for the insurance of my age and road tax), but then my friend who works there as a sales promised a pair of new tyres and brake hose.

 

The only thing lacking now is a main-stand which I hope it is not too expensive (Sorry, I am not sure about the price of a main-stand, but I am looking at only SGD 100+ to install if possible) to install.

 

Got used to parking my rides my main-stand, so now, this FZ6 is without a main-stand, I am looking at installing one if it is not too expensive.

 

Any kind souls here knows about the price and also, I know it sounds stupid, whether I can install a main-stand on a "naked" FZ6?

06 fz6n for 10k? sounds ex to me. some1 in the forum installed the mainstand for his naked version but not sure how much. maybe you can ask HL how much do they sell it and you diy.

Yes the are, but only for Fz1. The mounting brackets are not suitable for Fz6, there are couple of forum guys who mounted the yamaha fjr panniers

bro, u r not stupid... r bro of mine riding fz6n also installed main stand... this is for easy maintenance wad... hence, not stupid...

 

anyway, he got it from auto machinery for like $200+ and he DIY himself... it's pretty easy la... hence no worries...

Just keeping my fingers crossed about everything goes well and I can get my ride soon. Then I will not get "bullied" like now, when cars "sticks" to my "backside" every time I am on the road with my little lamb... Damnz fed-up... Why do they always bully riders on small lambs? We pay our road taxes too.

 

Then will look at installing main-stand in after I have accumulate enough wealth to install... heehee...
