can range from lousy ones to good and waterproof ones that the police department are using...

from china made ones to US made ones...

 

me? most probably fixing them again...

they really helps me during my ride along NSHW especially during at night...

i'm using Nokia N86... :)

btw, speaking of blinkers...

 

i tried china ones b4... cheap but not good...

the strobe functions does not comes within the LED components unlike US ones...

the strobe control comes from an external box with is not waterproof...

the LED components are also not waterproof...

i had to spend time waterproofing them with silicon but it couldn't bear a heavy downpour on my journey to Phuket...

the moment i reach SG and wash up my bike, i torn them down and throw it away without even re-considering them...

 

if u have a budget, try to go for US made ones cus it's brighter, they uses Gen 3 TIR (Total Internal Reflectivity) LEDs or the new type Linear LEDs...

if u google, there is two main companies namely Extreme Tactical Dynamics (ETD) & SpeedTech Lights (STL), maybe more...

 

i will not recommend ETD cus the customer service sucks as well as they do not provide instructions on their products, u had to trial & error yourself... i bought undercover 12 2.0 & deck 2 dual from them, i had to test out the undercover 12 myself to determine how to change strobe, for deck 2 dual, one of the wire connect from 1 blinker to the other is broken... NBz!

 

so far now, i'm looking into STL, their web already give you quite a precise explanation as well as downloadable catalog as well as instructions... i had email them earlier and i'm able to get accurate replies...

 

my 2 cents... :)

i dun think u get any discounts for the product cus the last time round that fella from ETD is very firm and very arrogant... he said, "either you take it or we will refund u back the amount in full"... :sian: the only you can crimp is the shipping fee... :angel:

Ya gonna try the mustafa blinkers to try out.....

 

Anyway just asking would touring on the fazer be comfortable? Try riding up to cameron highland on my drz with my wife was a torturous event.
