Hihi, just want to check with you guys how often do y'all change your air filter? should I get BMC air filters? On the same note, are the BMC air filters reuseable? as in, wash and all.

 

diff ppl have diff concept on air filters... some change their oem air filters when it's black & dirty, some change when it spoil, some change straight away when get their bike... :)

 

for me, i changed my air filter to aftermarket ones (k&n) at 1k km mileage mark... :)

 

aftermarket are said to last forever... of cus with taking care of it e.g clean, wash, re-condition, etc... periodically... :)

Hey Guys, any idea whats that box beside the volt stabalizer for? tried pressing all the buttons there but nothing happen..

yea... i also verified... blue fz1 with many gold blings... fully touring orientated bike... :)

 

btw, the black box u mentioned is the blinkers control module... :D

i'm not too sure on how they function or if there any secret switches around...

or try checking the switches on ur left handlebar or underseat...

if u die die still duno, let me know then i check with my frn...

 

try explore around first la... but give u a little advice while exploring, dun press press the buttons here & there and place ur ears near that stebel nautilus air horn hor... hehehe! :angel:

Have explored most of the bike.. Except for that particular black box.. And now finding a new remote for the alarm.. The current remote gone already.. The horn not quite loud now.. Perhaps the batt I guess..

Hi Fellows,

 

Need all input possible... Bike Panel is blank when I turn key switch to on...so cannot ignite..security light still blinking..

 

Anyone face this problem? What may be the problem??

 

.. Batttery check OK!, wiring from panel to left side header connector all OK!

 

What kind of damage with this problem?? Anyone know of any shop able to rectify such problem?

 

Need to tow to S'pore from JB any towing company to recommend?Price?

jus checked for u le, u gonna check on the wiring connections between the control box & the blinkers & the battery.. some loose connections due to wear & tear.. have fun riding.. :)

Bros out there, anyone can suggest where is the cheapest to make a duplicate set of key?, cos i only have the red one.. Black one spoilt man, can on bike but cannot start..

Bro, your duplicate set of key for which Yamaha model ??? One OEM blank Yamaha key from HL is about $20+ for FZ1. U then need to go the the locksmith to get it cut into shape. The locksmith shop next to Regina is quite good in duplicating keys. Once your key is cut into shape, u need to bring your 'red' key to HL to programme the new black key to work. FOC for me for the programme of key. I heard from the guy who do my keys, max 2 black keys possible to programme.
