hmmm... i'm not experts... let's jus give u personal comments... :)

i feel, this m-frizz full face flip up helmet sucks thou its the cheapest in the market... it's v heavy and noisy during rides... my frn who used it told me it's not as good...also, the mechanism used is those of normal material... easily spoil over wear and tear...

if you intend to invest in something good in full face or full face flip up, try to go for something that is well known in the market e.g. arai, shoei, etc... for me, i rather pay a bit more to get a better quality product than to buy something of mid range and below and need to get it fix/repair everytime...

currently i'm having 1 touring helmet which is arai rx7 rr5, 1 for SG street riding which is carberg justissimo gt flip up helmet and 1 cheap m-frizz vent-less helmet for neighborhood riding....

for the sale in the forum, i would not take it up becus i'm not used to wear other ppl wored helmet...

my 2 cents bro...

Any guys riding fz1 had the Leo Vince exhaust and the fz1's main stand is interferring with the exhaust ?

i realise that when the mainstand is dis-engaged (meaning in the spring up position) actually touches the exhaust , anyone having the same problem or is my leo vince having some dimension problem ? anyone can advice me on this ?

flip up helmets range actually from $150-$600++

the highest range i think its should be Shoei multitec. Arai doesn't makes flip ups, Shark recently just came out with a Evo-line, NoLan not much ppl wearing now, Caberg have 2 models locally(but after sales abit de... as long ur helmet don't give u prob), the rest will be like the Rjay and MHR same maker. the last one i should say the Mfizz... its in the sequence of highest to the lowest... If u plan to get something for touring, I will recommend u get the best... as we are all travelling at high speed... helmet can buy again, not ur head...

some suggestions from me...

do u think a FF and a flip up are of the same safety quality? is actually a flip up already more than enough in safety aspect? :cheeky:

Posted

Actually what i feel a flip up is actually jus like a open face... cos i have seen ppl accident the flip up actually breaks... So when Im touring, mostly I will be wearing a FF...

wow u better look into this fast else your pipe will have an ugly knock...

i had removed my main stand till i found a solution to it, previous owner no issue as his fz1n has no main stand....

now i worry is that the fz1n and fz1s exhaust configuration is different in terms of the rubber stopper for main stand or maybe some slight dimension difference

1) fz1s has main stand fz1n do not have

2) i realised that there is not even 1 finger spacing between the end can and the swing arm..

infact there is no need to remove the main stand either...u just have to control the mainstand when u r off the stand..slowly,then u will not have the problem of hitting the exhaust,i will show u when i am back from phuket.
