Hello all Y125Z riders! What u guys have to add about this bike? Modification? Design? Paintwork? Outlook? Body Design? Comparison?

so are there more Wave riders or y125z riders out theer //?

Both are among the same in models. But inside wise, difference is y125z is 2stroke, with clutch, 6-speed, sporty look and wave is 4stroke, clutchless, 5-speed if i'm not wrong, and it doesn't look sporty.

 

But the best, y125z is yamaha and parts can easily get from JB. Not only parts, once u're in JB, regard of mods, servicing, replacing parts are cheap too. In fact Wave, its honda and mainly parts are a bit higher than y125z. But it depends on individual choice!

 

To me, Wave is outlooking more to those kapcai's rider.

But y125z outlooking more to sporty design racing kapcai. But both can look attractive too by riders creativity!!!

wave is only 4-speed, and i won't agree what u say, it depends, if the rider wants only transport type, can get wave, want a bit of speed, can get y125z, cos it can be modded to be very fast, and looks wise, it's up to individual, some may say wave chio, some may not, for me, i like wave cos the tail light machiam Lexus tail light, and for parts wise, the two brans are almost the same, maybe difference of few bucks....

Yah... but whatever few bucks dat u're referring, 125z is the cheaper one! saving bit by bit can add more substance to those parts for stand-by in future! itz true of wat i say dude. wave's pipe doesn't look nice. Not only the pipe, attractivity, wave dun have much as 125z. But purpose wise, 125z can also be used for transport! doesn't mean to mod it for speed have to go for wat u have to take it. It is meant for everything too. speed? travel? transport? pick-up? journey time? time taken? consumption? everything is there in detail for 125z. tail wise, itz attend attraction at most! i've ride wave b4 n dat is i can feel much difference compared! itz just dat wave is too relaxing though...

Regards to Yz and Wave comparison, i think Yamaha got another suitable comparison, its auto-gear moped call Nouvo115cc, more like wave, and its a 4stroke kup. $3.8k otr. YZ is totally a different bike from Wave, its more for kup racing inclination, cos the 2strokes already says it all.

i'm thinking of changing my bike to either RXZ or y125z, y125z is a very beatiful n powerful bike, but the fuel tank too small, don't know can go how far for 1 full tank? n the price is so high!

1st hand about $3800 before insurance, 2nd hand about $2900 before insurance.. 2nd hand price if u buy from dealer... full tank plus reserve is about 5.5litre so the cost of pumping petrol full tank ard $5 to $6... can go about 116km before tank finishes (estimation)...

125z max speed 120km/h... tat is the fastest from my experience...
