a fully mod 125z can even beat a fully mod rxz..

not talking about the top speed..coz this bike sure clear meter if mod

correctly.and meter pin die at ard 185 km/hr.so ppl always disconnect the meter cable during testing..

heard KR smell Y125Z 2T smokes when at traffic light turn green.

Currently my milleage hit 650km liao, is it advisable to drag my RPM to 4500??? Or shld i wait till 1000km? And i find that the fuel guage meter like not accurate one, especially 3/4 tank, will go down to abt half and suddenly goes back to 3/4??? Anyone experience the same problem

so u mean u had been riding at 4500rpm from the first time u buy??

for me atually i do it in a this way.

first 100km.4000rpm.

100-300 5000rpm.

300-600 5500rpm.

600-900 6500rpm..

then when it near 1000 a slight 7000rpm..

after 100 km then maintain at 7000rpm..

u can't be going at 4500rpm from 0-1000rpm then when it reaches 1000km just straight pump it at 7000rpm...

got to do it smooth..

this is my way..any feedback is welcome.

i don't noe leh... asidsoul say can go 140km/h easily... i manage only 120km/h...

Yeah I tried before fully stock can go around that speed (at Kemayan City) discounting the speedo error of course. But vibrating like hell due to the lightness of the bike, felt like a vibrator lol. But cornering is damn shaky when tackling those long expressway exit corners due to those spokey rims.

Finally i manage to reach 140km/h but it was due to trying to chase my uncle's car as i dunnoe the way....

guys, ... i dunnoe how to check the brake fluid level.... can tell me how to check and how to top up?

Think best to send to shop to top up. Cause if you wan to top up yourself you got to buy the whole bottle of brake fluide, which u dun need so much at all lor. The fluide is located at the brake handle that side, bring your bike to centre stand and see if its below the 'low' level will do. Correct me if i'm wrong. I just top up the oil because i've just changed to steel brake hose loh.

Any y125z intend to do some mod? I finally reached 1100km on milleage liao, but find that my pick up quite slow, cant even catch up a vespa or wave........

supposed that 125z has got the small black box looking thing located on either left or right side of the handle bar??

there's the circle u can c the level of brake fluid there lor

not necessary to go meddle ard w/ the brake fluid too much lar...

if wan to topup juz simply unscrew the 2 screws found on top of the cover of the black box thing den topup lor...

wah lau eh...like dat,e mileage is no diff from a sports bike liao leh...anyway,125z using wad carb ah??keihin or mikuni??and wads e recommended scarb size if wanna mod??

wow, like that my petrol consumption increase liao loh

maybe go do jetting, exhaust.....dun dare, $500 bo hua, hor. My shop recommend me something to improve the speed, it has cable on it, dunno wat is it or how to explain leh, but was told it can boost the pick up, $50 for that. I yet to install cause i doubt it. can a few wiring give a better performance? Or i kuku dunno the new technology.

my 125z mod exhaust, empty airbox, sport rim and fast throttle so its easy to gain speed. that day kena caught 4 speeding. clocked at 126km/h when my meter was at 140 i think. dunno how to deduct speed difference. to all riders watch your speed! i kena 8pt n 170 fine boy! TP can rev my bike coz he suspect its mod. he rev till 10-12rpm then never say anything. i think he cant tell if original or mod. my pipe got yamaha engraved on it anyway...

He also said that the large emission of smoke was due to the half-modified pipe.. Is tis true? I did not anything about this as my uncle was the one handling the buying and checking of the bike for me... Btw my bike is 2nd hand...

ya lor, my friend also go knock my pipe, he say is hollow at the front part. I heard form my bike shop, that 1 of his customer was caught for modify pipe by LTA, but in fact that rider din do anything to his exhaust, its ORIGINAL!!!!!

large emission of smoke is due to 2t one lah...not related to half modified pipe lah...

i wonder how they do a half mod pipe..

by default the 125z exhuast is hollow at the front.

and there some stopper that block the air at the center of the exhuast.

making the bike less HP..

by hearing of the the exhuast u can actually know whether is being mod b4.for 125z the stock exhuast is loud compare to other bike..

u need to change the whole system in order to get the full power of the bike.
