Because not all people think like you or some of the hidden gurus.

 

Do you know I have met people who insist the difference between your STI and the standard WRX is minimal? Anyway they don't pay me so I don't bother explaining to them and risk being outcasted.

 

The knowledge of a lot of locals on automotives are questionable. Some wrote a lot of bull sh-it in the net on engine operation, suspensions geometry... When I brought those articles out during training or my trainer, they just shrug it off. Such problems exist even in Germany. Not all Germans are born engineer.

 

Fiat is a relatively unknown brand in Singapore and many do not even know Fiat owns Ferrari. You try explaining the BOSCH developed ASR which is incorporated in many of Fiat's products to them they will think you are trying to show off. They try explaining twisted engine operating principles that do not make sense to you and you try to rebut, you are stubborn in their eyes. Well take it easy.

 

Anyway Sinus, the re-mapping by Fiat is an excellent idea. Keep your warranty, get your Veloce abarth power

hmm cannot, 1 way is the person pay the installment but owner still remain your name but make sure is your NOK. if not you u need to write off then ur friend reloan. This one no loophole to use.

 

Btw wats monster capsule? got special button to activate during "danger" time then monster pop out to help ?

 

OIC... cause my friend is ok with the monthly instalments I'm paying... will check out on this...

 

Capsule no use lor... more of a vacuum tank lookalike, for brake booster effect... no use lar... first time put in, got better effect in braking... but ever since I've upgraded to steel braided hose and upsize brake rotors with better brake pads.... the capsule is cosmetic...

The common understanding is that it's more expensive. And that's true. But the positive part about this is that when you pay more you get more. Something we all have to agree with. However, if you know you ways, you can always get it cheaper.

I'm not saying a Japanese car is lousy. But its about the sales agenda and targetted market. The continental car business normally targets a different group of buyers. So the make will belong to a different league compared to the Asian make. That's why we have multiple brands.

 

If you want to buy a very very expensive Fiat with cutting edge technology, you will buy the prestigeous brand Fiat owns aka Ferrari. If you intend to buy a car with exclusive styling and technology from VW, you go for their exclusive brand Bugatti. Or the more commonly known in Asia, you choose Lexus if you want to buy an expensive Toyota with the later technologies and more expensive parts incorporated for sales.

Ms is a conti car owner, mine is a half fug conti assemble ride

 

Not really too much of downside except wallet damage, but is ok since you're ready to drive, so mentally should be prepared.
