juz my 22cts worth...tested both my r6 n cbr6 (on the road)

the comparison is tat of below

 

ride height/geometry- i prefer r6

ride position- r6

engine smoothness- i prefer cbr6

agressiveness - r6

corner entry - 50%-50% for both(cbr6 u cn go lower but r6 u cn go faster)

pick up - cbr6

 

*only my r6 ive brought it to track cbr6 have nt even touch PG entrance.

 

my overall result i still prefer r6.but only if we cn pick n choose,

i would put the engine pick up n smoothness to the r6 chasis but still maintain the r6 agressiveness

 

overall i still prefer the R6

one mre e.g for ur benefit of a doubt la bro.. the one dat is much closer to our hearts... Mr Crumbs(Kevin)( hope u recovers soon bro!) he average 1.44s around PG on a fully stock cbr600rr 07'. the only mod he did was -1/ on his front sprockets n mind u, his fastest time ard PG was 1.42s if i'm nt wrong... u cn chck it out in the pg track time board thread. i've still yet to c sum1 who cn clock dat kind of time on a stock R6... if u cn beat dat or equal dat timing, i salute u la bro...

 

more power doesnt mean more faster.. n if u a newbie to the track i advise u to learn d track fundamentals 1st... get ur techniques rite b4 u seek for more power..!

its all irrelevant which bike you choose, whether its a YAM, HONDA, KAWA OR GIXXER. Less than 10% of riders will ever use up to 80% of the bike's full potential. How many times have you heard someone say, 'I think i've reached the limit of the bike, i need a faster machine!' Almost never. At our level, it comes down to looks, comfort, practically, price and which make of bike u prefer. Performance has nothing to do with it. Unless you're using it to race in the MSS or something, then different story coz u need all the little advantages you can get.

 

I actually managed a 1:41:54 on the CBR once. but alot of riders out there can beat that. its not that quick at all. haha. but anyway however fast also no use, i'm at home now nursing 2 broken ankles after trying to better my time at PG. so morale of story is :Ride within your limits and have fun, because no one will say you're a hero when u crash. I havent even included damages to the bike yet....

I am no WSS, not even FIM Asia level rider. Cannot even maximize the full potential of a standard bike. Maybe, I lousy rider. So cannot ride.

Standard bike, u do 1.39 at Johor circuit. I say you good local rider. Or you're in the racing scene for more than 10years. Wrenching for many different riders FIM, AMA, WSS levels.

Maybe you know something about motorbikes. Otherwise, all bullshit. Talk **** only.
