Actually at Genting quite difficult to find parking lot..when i stayed at Theme Park hotel i parked somewhere near there only at the hotel restaurant just after reaching the upslope.

well,at that time got 3 touring bikes wif me and 1 parked busa(oso a S'porean).

the way i did it, i chained all 3 bikes together and of coz lock it. Lastly cover wif canvas.

if got 2 way alarms it sure is useful..

 

Of coz pray hard nothing will happen..but so far safe and sound.went up twice already.

 

Unless u got $$$,then maybe u might wanna stay at Genting Highlands Resort.

its oso within the area if im not wrong the there's parking lot and of coz it looks safer.

1. canvas--cheap2,good2, many2(ah boy $20 for a good one)

 

2. 2 way alarm--

a. SBF mass order SPY alarm $140

b. Super POWER!! (Scorpio US alarm)high end--motoworld $500.

 

3. Metal Chain--any hardware shop will do. $8 for 1 metre.

 

4. Locks--as long thick and solid. $6 will do. Bosch locks at $18.

i'm saving to buy Sorpio alarm by end of the moth..but the price :cry:

hahaha actually as a good samaritan i shd rite.worst to worst he just need to stay 1 more nite wait for us.. :D

starting point - Esso Gelang Patah

turn 1) 3.8km --> Exit at Gelang Patah Exit

turn 2) 2.9km --> Traffic Light T-junction turn right (GP town & Petronas is on ur left)

turn 3) 6.9km --> T-junction. Turn right (small town, police station about 100m before T-junction on ur left)

turn 4) 3.7km --> Traffic light T-junction. Turn left (newly build empty 2-story shop units on ur left)

turn 5) 2.2km --> Traffic light T-junction. Turn right (many houses on both sides)

turn 6) 1.4km --> T-junction (Jusco Tmn-U is opposite). Turn left (this 1.4km is a L-bend road)

turn 7) 250m --> Traffic light T-junction. Turn right then left into Petronas (Petronas is to ur right) A&W is in the station

 

 

Back to Causeway

 

starting point - Petronas Tmn-U

turn 1) xxm --> Traffic light T-junction. Turn right

BEWARE (T-junction in front of Petronas, after right turn should c Shell on left, jusco & petronas behind u on right)

turn 2) 300m --> T-junction. Turn left (T-junction is between Shell & Projet station)

turn 3) 360m --> T-junction. Turn right (another Petronas on ur left about 100m away)

turn 4) 520m --> Traffic light T-junction. Turn left (this T-junction is turn 5 in trip going A&W)

turn 5) 2.2km --> Traffic light T-junction. Turn left (this T-junction is turn 4 in trip going A&W, empty 2-story shop units on ur right now)

turn 6) 3.6km --> Traffic light T-junction. Turn right (T-junction is right below a fly-over)

point 7) 14.5km --> Caltex station opposite City Square.

 

*all distances 50m +-

 

Bringing this Up for those who wanna go Taman U a & w. I rode solo just now & just came back using this. Very infomative directory. I didnt even bring a map & didnt need 2 ask anybody for directions.

Its not very far. But take note, not worth it 2 go back via 1st link. 2 far.
