hey bros,

 

a friend of mine parked his bike in a parking slot...It on a slope..When he came back..the bike beside him fell and cracked his tailboard!..

 

the dumb biker dunno how to park his phantom properly then hit my friends S4..

 

The rider didnt turn up..

 

just to sak if he could get a claim thru getting his license plate number?

what insurance coverage is your friend currently holding?

 

even if he could claim from his own insurance, i would advise him not to. this will result in a lost of NCD and your next premium will be high.

Don't think ur fren can claim by getting his lic plate number. Take pic, report to police, see how lor. Ask his bike shop for advise. IMHO, there is no case.

Can submit a claim against the phantom's insurance. If I am not mistaken your friend's insurance company will be able to find the other party's insurance company and claim for third party damages. This will not affect your friend's ncd as he is not claiming against his own insurance.

 

Unless of course, the phantom does not have third party insurance coverage, then your friend LLPL lah..

a fren of mine had a similar incident like this before. He park his AT beside a car. The next morning gg to work saw his bike handlebar smash through car window. The car owner was there waiting for him. He told the guy to claim through his insurance but the guy didnt succeed in claiming coz the damage was not cause by him eventhough it was his bike.

 

Well, ur fren can try his luck though by taking pic of the incident and check with his insurance agent for advice but i guess this incident has long gone

a lot of noobs out there still cant park properly ya.. last time in my school carpark, i was in the inner most lot. my only way out was blocked by a rxz who illegally parked it in front of me. needless to say, he forgot to handle lock, so i pushed it into the middle of the road. kudos to him.
