am finding out if i eat banana,then go jog...issit ok or do i hv 2 wait 4 some time b4 jogging?

Sometime,after jogging,tend 2 b hungey,any food tat i can eat w/o gaingin all that weight back?

should wait a while after eating before running, best is an hr b4, so u will have time to digest before ur run... but i think juz one banana should be ok la...

 

as for after running, juz eat a sensible diet, not too much fried n oily food will do... to regain lost energy should take easily absorbed food like milo n such....

 

regular exercise and a sensible diet will ensure u wont gain too much weight...

Second wat siao liao hv say ..

To add on .. For losing weight ..

 

1) 6 meals a day in small quantity ..

2) Exercise regualry (running , swimming , aerobic exercise )

3) LEss carbo, more fruits and veggies , idea amount of meat(fish,chicken)

4) Drink lots of water

 

Just to ask .. how much distance u covered every running session ? Can go hungry one?

Mi on the other hand wana gain weight .. ahhahaha

yup! u got the correct way of not gaining that extra weight... eating banana is good..eat b4 joggin is cause of the high carbohydrate content and hence it generates more energy.. should do a bit of research on it and will find out that most atheletes eat banana b4 competition or exercise...it wun gain any weight at all... it just provides u with more energy..and it wun cause gastric. but i m not talking abt gorgin urself with a lot of banana or eating baked bananas hor.. (goreng pisang) :D

To reduce weight, do cardio excercises like jogging/running/swimming/rowing , den reduce the quantity of food intake. Lower it by alittle. If you eat a little lesser, exercise more, sure lose one. But you can tahan? I cannot. So i rather be fat. :sweat:

If want to slim down, why provide your body with extra energy source (banana) to work with instead of from aerobics workouts to use up your fat/carbohydrates reserve?

6 small meals a days also increase your metabolism rate ..

high metal. rate > burn fat higher ..

 

will recommand eating a banana .. to increase the 'working rate'

And after the run the banana will will be burn off ..

 

Drink at least 500ml of water an hour b4 run .. warm up and stretch ..

nope... banana is for u to increase ur work rate...not to make u fatter..eating fruits wun make u fat...and wif its high fibre content it actually clears ur bowels more often than not! its definitely a wise choice...aerobics is good...but do u think its as effective as joggin? which exercise burns more fat? seriousy i feel that simple aerobics wun do u much good..u hardly sweat let alone burning that extra fat! unless its those vigorous ones.... pple get the wrong misconception cos of advertisements....they are actually showing that 1% of those that has actually succeeded from aerobics...dun be mislead...some pple just lose weight easily so aerobics works well for them..and anyway do u see pple having advertisments on joggin courses for slimming????hahahaa joggin is definitely better....

eh.. i 2 weeks nvr went running, then yesterday went 4 a short 5km run. my whole thighs like kenna cramps.. now walk also cannot walk properly.. dunno y like tat leh.. i got do the usual warm up n cool down... wats wrong with my body??? :confused: :confused:

1996-1997 : Honda CBX 125

1997-2006 : Honda Project Big 1

2006-2011 : Yamaha Fazer 1

2011-2013:- Harley Davidson XR1200

2013- now: Something BIG..

its all in th emind... its whether u want to do it or not... cos it wont come so easy to burnt all that fats.... so do any sports that crosses onto ur mind "regurlarly".... always do some push up or sit up.... if consistently do... i can bet u 3 months.... u can have a great body...

confirm will lose weight..all these cramps will cause muscles development...either u become thin or u will become muscular!! kee[p it up!!

I jog 2.4km..6 rounds around the track almost everyday..timing always 12mins! How to fasten ah? To get gold i must run 10.4mins and below..die lah...drink red bull with raw eggs help? hehe

 

wun help...u have to stretch ur limits to improve...must make sure u do ur best each and everytime...onli that will improve urself... doesnt mean u do the same old thing 1000000 times it will help...it depends on how u do it....if u were to jog casually every time u will nv improve..must not give up one..even when u are damn tired liao also cannot stop...must tell urself to run faster and faster....that should be the way...confirm one day get gold...

try to take warming up and stretching more seriously..will reduce most of your problems :D ...and not forgetting cooling down and stretching as well.....think stretching is the key...take more time..dun rush to it too soon. :bounce: ..hence you have not been running for 2weeks liao.

To increase ya timing .. i will not recommand tat ..

Maybi u can try tis ..

Stretch yourself .. warm up for 2 rounds ..

 

Then do some fast run .. First u need to knoe wat the timing for 1 round inorder to $400 :D

 

Go to the start point .. get your watch ready and go for 1 fast round ..

DO Not go beyond the timing ..

REst a while .. 2mins .. Then go for another round .. > can do tis for 4 rounds .. and call it a day ..

 

Next few session . can increase to 2 rounds .. and so on .. till u hit full 6 rounds .. If u got more time till your ippt test day .. I would strongly recommand PROGRESSIVE training .. OR knoe your limit training ..

 

Breathing is also veri important in running ..

inhale - nose, exhale - mouth

For mi .. 2 steps per inhale/exhale

 

Day b4 ippt

1) rest well

2) carbo loading > few days

3) hydrate > few days and b4 ippt

4) banana > few hours b4 ippt

5) stretch well .. veri important especially legs and 'side trunk' b4 ippt

 

if u don stretch your side trunk well .. u will get 'stich' > pain at the side of your abs .. however u can overcome tis WHILE running

Take a deep breath in and hold it .. press hard, using palm, on the effected area.

Then slowly exhale out .. a few times .. till pain goes off .. rememeber to keep your pace going ..

First consider .. which way u wana do your chin up ..

There r 2 ways ..

 

Overgraft - holding the bar as in your palm facing down ..

Major muscles group - LAT (wing) , back

Undergraft - holding the bar as in palm facing up ..

Major muscles group - chest and bicep

 

Then go gymn start to wack the the muscles group ..

If u r those last min. kind and just wana a pass.. undergraft i think is better. Just concentrate on biceps As heavy as possible .. and chest

 

Do push up .. the normal, diamond and spider ..

3set of 20 per exercise for starters ..

Jogging is definetly better than aerobics when it comes to burning fat. But pls be careful if you're overweight cos jogging puts more pressure on your knees, and will lead to long term knee injury. Aerobics on the other hand, gives a full body workout.

Individual situations differs, choose one that suits you.

I am not a PTI .. got 2 friend is ..

 

But a soldier .. so IPPT is something oncoming till i ORD ..

But mi downgrade liao .. due to injury .. so even i get gold also no $200 .. :lol:

 

Actually pushup helps ... is also an 'no excuse' for u to skip them ..

"not time to hit the gymn" and etc ..

Like u doing a pulley machine in a gym .. it works on one major muscles and one/few minor muslces .. So the logic is around the same ..

Cant explain in Fitness term cos i am not a Certified personal trainer .. But i am saving up for the course .. ehhe

 

Aniway u must hv a target in mind ..

Just pass ippt or tk $400 in pocket ?

 

The bigger the muscles group , the easy for u to do more pull ups ..

SO right now u still can consider which grip u wana use ..

so how to calculate the max heart rate?? anyway wats the avg guy's heartrate?? heard some say 70~90bpm
