my bday is tmr.i wanna enroll in cdc..but all my frens who got bike tel me go

bbdc.somemore they say til like cdc not enough time slot siya..need wait few weeks for prac 1 and prac 2 and so on all.isit true?

 

an example ah..i wan chiong my license la..

 

so i enroll on 30sep.than i do my prac 1.if i pass than i can book for prac 2

on the same day or not ah?or must i wait few days for the prac 2 slots?i dont

wan drag long long siya.my skool damn far from my home.i stay central.than my

skool at temp.so wan take bike.the faster i do it wil be more convinient la..and

i already have alot of road exp.OPSS.

In my opinion, I think the situation is the same in bbdc as well as ubi. In my personal experience, I find it is much easier to go to the centre that is nearer your home. Previously, I attempted taking class 2b @ bbdc because my mindset at that time was that, since my school is in the west, so it will be easier. But after a while, I find it tiring to travel to and from fro frm bbdc and home (I stay in tampines). Plus during that time, I was stuck @ the plank for very very long. That one bad fall I had was the final straw and I gave up taking there.

 

Now, I'm currently taking class 2b @ ubi and awaiting my TP on the 19th of November. I'd say if you want to chiong through your lessons, do book more than one slot for that particular prac.

 

So for eg. book Prac 1 on a monday slot & thursday slot. If you are not confident still, book a third slot on a saturday. That way, if you manage to pass your prac 1 the first time, you can simply cancel that thursday & saturday slot and book for your Prac 2 (using the same multiple slots-booking method). If you happen to fail your Prac 1 the first time around, at least you don't have to wait a long time till you do it again since from my experience, the next available slot for the same prac will be at least one week away.

 

One more thing to advice ya bro. I understand why you want to chiong through your license. I had the same mentality as well when I started doing it as I can't wait to travel from tampines to boon lay on my bike(school is in the west), it will be so much easier and convenient. After a while, I realise there's no point to really chiong through as you still need to wait for your RTT lessons and DRT lessons anyway. So try to go slow, but consistently and learn as much as possible while you're there.

Yeah I agree with rvnrooron84~ Multiple slot booking works great. But don't just chiong pracs. When you book for your first prac, try to book for theory classes too. So you can get your RTT over and done with, then when you pass your prac 5 you can just directly apply for your PDL. This way it's faster.

I heard normally BBDC got faster TP date. It's true that CDC TP abit slow.. probably too many learners.. hehee.. so I dun stop you from going BBDC instead.

cdc can be as fast as bbdc also actually.. if i didn't fail my rtt i would have completed my 2b in 2 1/2mths.

I heard BBDC can book TP upon registration, where CDC must pass all practical lesson.. so BBDC can learner can finish the practicals before the TP, and pass, they usually can complete faster..

 

to arsenal, chiong practical by all means, but don't chiong on the road after u got the license.. ride safely..

To my surprise, about 40% Class 2 failed on Tuesday... think tester mood not very good. my no is 12. then I heard number 1,2,3,10,11 and etc called up.. so scary.. knn..
