who learning bike @ CDC nw??

 

i v sian le .. mine fren ditch me after 1st lesson .. . go alone v boring .. who learning there!!!! mayb can book pract 2gether .. ~hee~

(cry) .. who can teach me hw 2 lift bike off & on main stand?!?!??! tat main stand always giv me trouble & i alway drop bike .. (cry)

Lift bike off the main stand is quite easy. Grab the handle bars, lift the bike upwards and walk forward.

 

To get the bike on the main stand would be slightly more difficult, but still easy once u got the hang of it. Stand parallel to the bike, stick your right leg into the mainstand lever. Now grab the left handlebar with your left hand, the rear crashbar with your right hand and lean back. Pull the handlebar while leaning back. VIOLA!

 

If all else fails, just make a confused face and ask someone to do it for u and see how he do it.

Make sure the 2 ends of the main stand touch the floor .. then it will be easier to pull up

o tat a gd 1 .. but i muz learn mah~ i damn paiseh le .. everytime push bike off e main stand then sure drop (but i only 2nd lesson) .. then park main stand also cannot make it .. only heng heng a few times nia

Oh relax. I seen people in prac2 struggling to put mainstand on. Saw a few guys during TP struggling to put mainstand due to nervousness. So you're not alone.

sob .. but they nv drop le .. i is keep droping le .. mine 1st lesson push off main stand nt much prob but 2nd lesson dunno y keep dropping wor .. arghhh~ ..

lean the bike towards you right after the bike comes off its main stand...and press the brakes..so the bike wont sway..or fall to its right side..

Pressing the front brake when its off its mainstand is a good technique..Another that might help is to lean it towards you and if suay suay the bike wanna fall support it with your thighs/knees..Pants dirty nvm la..Better than bike fall..

 

Another way of making sure your bike doesn't fall when you release it off the mainstand is to eat healthy and go to the gym to build more muscles..

thx 4 e info .. hee .. erm i nt v weak lar .. i gt play sport d .. but mine wrist was injured b4 .. operation on e master hand & after which, i can nt carry heavy thing.. carry awhile only e whl hand muscel will pull

Still got prob? Use the crashbar..No need to carry the bike..The crashbar not only protects you when you fall it is also useful for getting the bike on its mainstand..Stop the edge of the mainstand with your foot hold the rear crashbar..Next is to just pull one time (hard) the bike to the back with your foot stopping/preventing the bike from rolling away..A quick strong jerk will do fineYour foot is the fulcrum..The load the front part of the bike and the hand pulling the bike backwards is the force..No need to carry..Simple as that..
