i am too really interested in the MP3 400 .

The problem is , i seldom ride . I drives to work most of time.

I have a 96' XR250 Baja . used only on weekends .. super under ultilised.

Didn't use the Baja for work because my work place is 30km away from my home and riding a scramble that long distance ain't too comfortable not to mention lack of carrying capacity.

Now, is MP3 the answer for 30km ride to work everyday ? Also Hope that having 2 forms of transport vehicle provide flexibility to the family. when i ride, my wife gets to use the car.

If someone out there offers me 3k for my Baja 250, i go straight down to piaggio to buy the MP3 400. Btw, whats the OTR for MP400 at piaggio and whats the difference compared to buying from looi's , assuming that i pay full cash for the bike ??

1994- LC125

1995- YPVS125 / TZR 125

1996 - NSR250PGM

1996 to 1997 - XL250R

1997 to 2001 - XR250R

2001 -2002 - Suzuki samurai 4x4 (Australia)

2003 - Nissian sunny 1.5,

2004 - alfa romeo 147 1.6 TS

2005 to 2007 - 98' Jaguar XJ8 V8 Van de plas , 02' S2000 (USA) ,

2007 onwards - back to my Alfa 147 1.6TS , 96 XR250R BAja

Hi Guys,I am also interested in this bike and have afew queries to make...

Just want to check how much is the interest for the installment and how long can we drag the installment?

As for the 250 and 400cc,which will be a better choice as it only cost 1k differences.

Lastly, have you guys encounter any problems with this bike?

Thanks all for sharing....

Just for sharing....

After riding for well over half a year, I've came up with a few things. Here they are as follows;

- I still do put my bike on main-stand. Guess it's a habit, but I also don't sometimes depending on situation.

- I almost dropped my bike once due to my forgetfullness. When I released my bike from main-stand, I forgot that my suspension wasn't locked and I almost lost it, but thankfully, I managed to hold on.

- The openning of the rider seat can still be a pain in the ass.

- Still getting a lot of stares, here there and everywhere and not forgetting the occasional photography sessions.

- Pushing the bike around is a breeze and fun. Sometimes it can double as a skateboard.

- Still haven't had the opportunity to ride side by side with any fellow mp3 riders.

- I wish I have more luggage space for putting stuff.

- I still hope to go for an mp3 gathering.

- Over 15,000 km and I'm still thrilled by it.

hi guys, how much do you guys pay for a full tank and how much km can the full tank give?

for my MP3 250,the best fc tat i have gotten was 31 km/l..i was quite surprised, but tat was when i just got the bike and still tryin to adapt..now my usual fc is 30km/l,which means i can travel for 300 km before reserve..btw i usually riding 90-100km/hr and most of the time is on expressway..

Wow! 30km/ltr at 90~100km/hr is a good figure! At those speeds does the MP250 engine feel stressed? (e.g. high RPMs)

Even the smallest spark can start a massive forest fire...

Thanks PiPi for the info...

Another thing to ask u, regarding whether to take the 250 or 400,

what are the extra cost that one need to pay for the 400cc as compared to 250?

I know insurance is higher, how abt rd tax or any other hidden cost?:dozed:

The rpm would be around 7,000. Not stressed but not enough to roll on the power to overtake once you are at that speed.

He who hesitates is lost!

hi everyone,

I am currently riding an x1 and the piaggio mp3 caught my eye,

but, as i travel quite a lot, kick-start is a must for me.

Does the MP3 come with kick-start?

i seem to remember Piaggio bikes only got auto-starts.

Thanks!

great news!

I have a customer wanted to sell his black MP3 250, mileage very low (dunno how much yet but really very low), comes with original top box. Asking price is around $10,800. At least $2000 off the new price and getting a scooter as good as new!

Call Yu Shxiong at 91781868 for exact information.
