Very nice! Is it the 400 or 250 version? Mind sharing the price via PM? Thanks!

some differences that i think is different from my 2009 model vs the older model... pardon the many pics...

http://chesterchen.com/temp/dash.jpg

picture of the dash with the two new buttons? to open the storage and boot. there are no more buttons on the key, everything has to be opened from the dash. silly thing is that i would have to turn to lock my handle bar and turn the key to lock to disable these buttons. else even without a key in the ignition, i am still able to open both storage areas.

i have to turn my handle bar to one side before i can lock my bike. only this will disable the storage area buttons. any way around it?

http://chesterchen.com/temp/horn.jpg

read in the modernvespa forums that the horn was actually in the front of the bike? from my bike, seems like it is now below the rider, just behind the two wheels. wanted to install a stebel nautilus compact but dont think it can fit in that area. guy from motorworld also said that there wasnt enough space in the front compartment to install it. anyone got it successfully installed?

read on modernvespa about the ducati mirrors and the integrated turn signals and went ahead to buy it from http://motoscience.mybisi.com. nice guy with good service and it came even before i got my bike. had it installed successfully yesterday at motorworld while installing my scorpio which i bought from them. only problem is that the rubber given wasnt long enough to cover the entire bolt and attachment. need to source for one.

bought and installed it at motorworld yesterday. wanted the one way scorpio i300 version but there was a problem pairing the receiver and remote. gave up after trying two different units and ended up upgrading to the i900 version which came with everything, rfid, proximity sensor, etc which installed smoothly. still playing with the functions and all. fits nicely in the front of the storage space which i wont utilise too.

hope this helps for anyone who wants to know the difference between the old models or wanting to modify. dont know if i voided my warranty, but can least am happy with the modifications. the default horn is loud enough and guess the stebel is more of a want than a need. till next time...

This is the same feature as some of the Vespas. Have to live with it. Anyway, you should always lock your handlebars because then your parking brake cannot be released either.

:thumb: Two Michelin Gold Tires are already very gripping. Now this new MP3 comes with three. Wow! Its performance during rain must be very good.

Btw.. anyone knows where to get these 12inch michelin gold tyres for the MP3's front?

hi william, notice that you have been following up on this mp3. what is stopping you from buying this 3 wheels bike?

A few reasons:

1) Finances. Finally gonna pay finish my loan for my current Burgman 400, a bit weary to start another 4~5 years of installments.

2) Economics. My current scoot is still functioning well, so not much justification to get another one yet.

3) Reliability. After riding my Jap scoot for 4 years, a bit used to the no fuss no worries that I currently have. Italian scoots are known for their beautiful designs and innovations, however seems from others' past experiences that they may not be that suited in our local climate.

For e.g. heard of brand new Runners previously having problems with water pump. So it's a bit of a leap of faith in that sense for me personally...

Especially when I'm using my scoot as a daily commuter to work, can't stand the thought of frequenting the workshops... work schedule is pretty busy enough as it is.

Even the smallest spark can start a massive forest fire...
