Hi anyone interested in Dark blue MP3 ie 400cc that is on the road for less than 3months, with newly added accessory original back box and rack? It's going for sales PM me ur offer I might consider. (pls don not offer anything to low that makes me feel uncomfortable u want a classy and great bike do prepare to spend)

Yet another give away is that I was given 500 dollars credit for the bike's parts for servicing, this credit is transferable to owners who is taking over this bike. The moral of the story is that u would have free servicing which include engine oil and spark plug for free almost a yr, depending on when and how u take care of this beauty.

Still under hire purchase, any offer under 13.5k I can't let go. Interested full cash or own reloan would be recommendable.

The great facts about this bike is that it has tons of storage space and it's like a mini car, very comfortable and sexy due to the paint work and design.

This bike has done it's first servicing @ 1000 and the mileage is currently 2.4k, travel alot from bukit panjang to Tampines.

And this bike has yet to really run in to 5k, so ur buying a "first" hand bike.

Reason for selling, downgrading 1st to a smaller bike X1r or Spark, when time is right upgrading to a car.(motivation to upgrade to a car? b'cos of my Mp3 made me feel awesome and ya ur like a super star when u ride out a mp3 ppl around u wont stop admiring ur bike)

Trade option is open with the bike mention above. Thank u for ur time.

Cheer James

Yeh, just got my 3 wheeler! Looking forward to riding something new for the new year. :)

Got so much to learn from all you snr bros, looking forward to joining the next meet-up.

Of immediate concern:

- where to mount road tax & parking disc?

- where to get a full cover for bike? (to protect against rain & bird sh1t)

- any good anti-theft measures to recommend?

Welcome to the family of 3 wheeler!

  • all this while i never display road tax and parking disc before, so far never got summon or stopped.
  • i juz got mine from ah boy around $22 size 4L (if u got more budget, can get the hokado brand from ah boy, or if u got alot more budget, oxford from motoworld seems good)
  • hmm.. anti-theft ar.. so far i got no commends yet.. (wanna to fit my previous alarm on the bike, then shop told me it might void the warranty,in the end did not transfer the alarm over. 1st time i hear fix alarm will void warranty..)

hi MP3 rider and expert;

-can any one advise me for the MP3 --which will perform better on spore road -125/250/400cc ?--are there many of such riders now in spore ?

* in my define meaning of "perform" mean

> road holding -during rainy time / sandy road / un even road

> fuel consumption

> power when over taking

> vibration and stability

-so for any riders that have been riding more then 1 yr or more ---what will be the maint cost to up keeping this bike ? its is expensive ?

> maint cost

> frequency of break down

> major part replacement due to let say 15,000 km have been used on the bike

> part easily available fm agent -or have to wait for 3 weeks?

> unforesee break down or surprise break down ?

-for the warranty issue is the agent responsive and technical skill know how?

> what do they commonly cover ?

i am considering to switch to a 3 wheel ( in any cc-bec i just want to used for my mean of transport when i am back in spore )and have been reading alot about its for a long time --my last few mth when i was in France -Paris ---my god !!! there are so many of such MP3 bike running on the street ---despite young ladies and old man or woman ...so this really giving me a great thought

> does its really give us safety /comfort ?---many ppl answer was YES fm the web --but i also wish to cofnrim this fm the spore bike user

> how about maint cost ---and up keeping cost---which this really my factor of concern

(* this bike is not common and i have not see 1 in BKK yet ---so bec the cost is too high so many of the biker there prefer Honda Phantom ---very very common for office worker and factory worker )

bec cost of the bike is high ...but if up keeping its is also high so its serve NO economics of scale any more to any bike owner right ?

Qn for fellow MP3 400cc owners: there's 2 buttons in the center of the steering, 1 to pop open the saddle and 1 to (supposedly) open the rear compartment. Been playing around with these for last few days, but the 2nd button can't open the "boot" at all. Still need to use key manually.

Is this the expected behaviour, or just my bike? Seems kinda silly to have a button not to do anything leh. :(

For road tax, just need to keep a photocopy with the bike. Can keep anywhere out of view but need to be able to produce if authorities ask for it. For simplicity, I just keep a photocopy of road tax, insurance, driving license, IC, log card, in a waterproof bag inside the locked compartment.

There's also a 500cc version.

I don't think the purchase cost of the bike is high compared to Jap maxi scooters due to the exchange rates.

yeah,it is in fact cheaper than the Jap maxi scooters..

Cool, can meet up to learn more from rest of folks. Err, where yishun dam? can pinpoint on gmap not? :p

hey. i gotta ask. i'm 1.5m and riding a honda phantom. my parents want me to switch to a mp3 250 because of its stability. the only thing holding me back is that i clearly can't put my feet on the ground (obviously). granted, there isn't a need to do so when stopping at lights and such. but maneuvering the bike with very low speed ie: parking.. it's gonna be really tough right? plus.. there isn't a reverse gear. can you guys advise? do you really have to push the bike out of its lot? and whether someone of my height is able to get it? thanks!!
