hey ppl, i looking to get an mp3 400... was thinking of getting from the agent... asked a few bike shops as well, but seems like agent will b a little cheaper??? i not sure...

 

if buy from agent i think have to pay machine price, coe and IU right? anything else???

by e way i looking for black one, i know there's no 2nd hand ones so far in garage sale, so i think new one also better...

i called the agent and realised if buy from them still got alot of things to add... abit more ex than getting from dealers... so i found out there are lots of dealers who are authorised to sell mp3... any recommendations?

 

any gd or bad experiences? so far i looking to buy from universal or asphoon... hope u guys can advice me...

I read in this thread about changing the horn on the MP3. I went to Motoworld, and they told me it's not possible to install an air horn. Has anyone here changed to a louder horn? Can let me know where? and what brand/model?

Hi,

 

i changed my stock horns to the Stebel Magnum Electric horns at Taihin, not fantastic work, but so far no probs for the past 1 year plus. Air horn not possible coz of the size of the horn units, think the Stebel ones shld be loud to sound like a BMW horn.

not louder .. but loud enuf .. and its legal ... if you think not loud enuf, den install air horn at your own risk .. its really up to u, just that i dunno where can u hide or rain proof the air horns on your bike. Otherwise it will just stick out of your nike somewhere like an ice-cream seller ... just my 2cts..

I bought from Wing Yap Motor in Balestier. Good experience, will buy from them again.

went to MW and wanted a stebel installed but the fella said no space to do so.

 

Got it installed at LAB finally, was the first MP3 that the fella did.

 

SH Cycles, a few workshops down, has tons of work done on MP3s, and think they guy knows it inside out. can buy yourself and ask them if they do installation?
