As of Monday, 28 September 2009, 4pm, we can confirm that all Petrol Stations Island-wide have decreased its pump prices.

 

Here is the order of price movements:

 

* Shell - 1.00pm

* SPC - 2.30pm

* Caltex - 3.00pm

* Exxonmobil - 3.30pm

 

Significant changes in prices are reflected in detail and can be viewed in the tables below.

 

Summary of price changes:

 

* Grade 92: Decreased by 7 cents (SPC, Caltex & Exxonmobil)

* Grade 95: Decreased by 7 cents (Shell, SPC, Caltex & Exxonmobil)

* Grade 98: Decreased by 7 cents (Shell, SPC & Exxonmobil)

* Premium: Decreased by 7 cents (Caltex)

* Premium: Decreased by 6 cents (Shell)

* Diesel: Decreased by 7 cents (Shell, SPC, Caltex & Exxonmobil)

Of cos cert do play a part, it serves to justified the pay which you are getting but experience plays more depending on the field you are heading into..Most degree focus on the the theory and most of the time, industrial attachment doesnt allow u to practise what you learn also..More like SK worker..

 

Anyway, job is heng suay kind of thing also..

 

Looking thru all the current job which are hiring, they are looking for those who have the know how and not the read know how..

IF you dont have experience to speak for what you are certified theoretically for, it's just another piece of expensive white paper which cannot be use to wipe kar cheng with...

When i go ITE, so mani pplz got ITE cert...

 

Now at poly, c my fren work outside... Also too many diploma. So he tell me to study hard to aim for a degree at least.

 

Future, full of degree people on the street le~ hahaha!!!

 

for our course yes, according to ntu fren.. but for my area of speciality i know i no chance..

 

U can go for material science. But not easy lor!

So what happen when you have a whole dept full of degree holders??

Hey guys anyone looking to change their RVF's drive train?(front & rear sprocket + chain)?

 

ive been selling a practically brand new afamt6-7075 rear sprocket size 42tooth and afam 14tooth + rk x ring chain for sometime now on my sales thread .

 

the chain still has its original wax .. and the sprocket hardly has marks on the teeth , its THAT new.. front sprocket comes with the box even! +_+

 

highly recommend this for riders intending to track their Rvfs or just love playing pick up.

my sis just grad from SIM UOL recently.. need adv or help can let me know.. i can help u all ask ask... but i can see that its really tough.

yeah UOL seems tough. they do not have term tests, semesteral exams or such. how they go about is they teach u modules throughout the year, and only at the end of the year, u take 1 major exams for the modules taught.

 

from what i know, UOL recognized in govt sector, apart from NTU, NUS, SMU and such. of coz, not including those super prestigous unis like imperial, warwick, harvard etc.
