clutch gone....standard problem.....on all rvf......thanks to rvfs AMAZING slipper.

most of the time, only the fiber plate spoild. repair cost between 130 to 180.

if u or the ex owner play wheelie and burnout, then the metal plate spoil as well, expect between 230 to 280.

how to see spoil........the plates will be dark black/brown......color to indicate overheat/burn

risk of not rectifying this problem soon......chain will spoil faster

so u are my bro....hahaha, guess I'm really not used to it but I really enjoy the power....maybe first riding a sportbike, and the feeling is really sweet....Really Very Fast....in my opinion since previously I was riding a crusier...top at most 130....this one....scary :giddy:

For RVF400RR, never jammed rear wheel brake, as it is far too easy to skid than any other 400cc sport bikes. Front brakes must be applied guaduately. Best is never speed at 190km/h and above on SG roads as it is far too congested.

Never clutch in to drop 2 gears and applied rear brake at the same time as rear wheel will definately skid.

Pull in maximum throttle only in JB. North-South Highway. Only after your handing is good enough. Never think of it if u are not up to that kind of standard, as u are just a beginner of a racing bike.

To me, I feel that u are far too junior to handle this bike. U should start off with NSR or TZM or KR, when u are in class 2B. Not when u reach class 2A, then u immediately jump onto a RVF400RR.

To ride a sport bike, it is far more stressful than a cruiser bike on any roads.

For me, I accept my fate if I am to get seriously injured or even passed away because of my own individual choice of riding a sport bike.

Keeness of being a sport bike rider is being shown after the government had taken away my licence for a three years ban and is being taken back by me again after this ban.

I am prepared for the worst, so how about u?

ehh, i'm abit confused liao....from your avatar, u are a lady...but the way u wrote lagi confused....i'm learning the pattern of the bike, and so far...i go rather smooth just that the neutral gear piss me abit...i don't really think u are the previous owner of mine bike from the way u talked....very weird.....so far i only hit 130km/h and is trying to get use to the cornering of this bike....still awhile to go...yes, i skip class2b cos i don't want to waste the time/money to get something that i don't like...2b is good for practise but i feel that due to it's power and weight, it's very dangerous....

prior to riding, i have as well got all my gears and do not spare to get a good helmet and jacket just wanna feel safe as well...thanks for your advice and i will definitely remember it....bottom line, enjoy your ride and ride safe....cheers

nitezkid...for the neutral gear thing..i teach u 1 method where all ppl are doing.

1) clucth in 1st and change to neutral.

2) if cannot go neutral, put ur clucth on biting point and trottle a bit

3) kick to neutral

This trick shld work in most cases.

bros.. my fork is leaking quite badly i think.. to me... i wonder how much it will cost to get it fixed?? juz got my ride like 2wks only problems start coming again...

go back shop and tell them ur fork is leaking..2 weeks only i sure they will help u do something if not that bike shop really ****er..

check ur fork tube..most likely is scratches that y the oil will leak. if the scratches is too deep..i guess u haf to change ur fork tube.

if the scratches are light...change a oil seal might help. your mech will den adjust to a position where the fork seal will stop the oil leak. Be extra careful when u wana change front tyre next time..best is go back to the place where u change ur opil seal..

Dun worry...this is another common problem in RVF. we all face it and learn together..
