Honda RVF400 Riders

Went to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal today , on the way there kana roadblock .. 5pm in the evening !!! Balls gone up my throat .. As i'm using the 2bro endcan ... Immediately switch off my engine when he ask me to park 1 side .. haha .. Aft talking c*** with me for 5mins , end up fining me for my visor .. Phew , road off like a turtle afterwards .. haha , wat i wanna ask is tt , when they fine me for the visor , they will issue me the receipt straight right ?? They ask me go back wait for the letter .. is this a indirect way of giving me chance ?? 1st time kena ..

well he should give u ticket on the spot....... its a 50 bucks fine.... may b he gave u a warning..... i received a ticket on e spot.... :mad:

hey does any know where i can get the steel mate remote... coz i haf e alarm but i dunt haf e remote... any idea which shop sellin it... n how nuch it roughly cost... thankzz..

Looks like a big headache for clifford of K&T already. Guys, help fellow RVFians and Clifford to source for the left fairings pls? The damage to the parts and fairings are extensive and gonna be there for weeks under repairs.

hey is your 2 bro fu@king loud... i am using its too i find it too loud and i cant tahan lolx. i am got of a way to DIY install a silencer. u wanna join me for E project?

normally they will take out the printer and issue u the ticket on the spot. since they say u go back wait for letter, dun worry. they will send u the letter.

since u find it loud. just use back the stock end can. wad is the point of soften the 2 bros end can when it is illegal in the first place.

i love e power of 2 bro so i dont wanna change back.. i wanna soften it because at less its not that loud untill tp from far can hear so sure catch one. at less i soften it so to reduce e % of been eyes on for tp. even i soften its the power will still be greater dan stock one.. its just like y there is a silencer on the legal yoshi and micro. the sound is not that great. a after maker yoshi or micro is just to take out the silencer its sound great but for power ard e same.

why don't u contact adida5? he just got his fairing done up as well at motorworld? that will definitely be the immediate solution to your problem...finding new fairing will cost some time and money as well if u want it to be shipped from UK...

u can try to do it. but not really useful. on the run or rd block, 1 look at the shape of the end can will know it is a 2 bros. for micron is diff, the silencer can remove and fix back easily.

faring is totally cracked. Cannot be repainted or simply using superglue to glue it back.

precisely, since it is crack...best to get it replaced. maybe u should contact ad1da5 and ask him abt his replacement cost....

Respraying in SG cost $500 to $700.

The ebay deal gives you a new resprayed fairing. You can see it as getting the fairing for free.

Each alarm is coupled to a remote. I don't think you can get a replacement remote as they each have their own frequencies.

 

If you can get a replacement remote, that would render all Steel Mate alarms useless.

Why ship from UK? New original fairing can be gotton from Boon Siew.

It happened in Dec last year..

 

There was always a small hairline crack at the rear panel.. I dont know if my aggressive washing made it worse or what la.. One day i come home after JB, to see the panel broken.. I dont even know what happened.. Maybe it was shaking till it came loose and flew off..

 

Haiz.. now waiting for replacement..

Oh yea...one of the sucky thing about RVFs is its crispy thin fairings. Especially at the tail. I neglected to tell to NEVER apply force to that part..... Thaz why you see my tail always abit dirty even when i finished washing it.

 

And yea...for the sake of the crispy thin fairings.....do slow dowwwwn on the uneven roads of JB. Some of the potholes are pretty destructive to the bodywork....especially the huge U turn back to SG after Shell.....take it easy man! hehe.

 

Oh well.....all the more reason for that Tyga tail mod.............
