i am sorry about the comment on rvf is a road bike fitted with fairings. i am not gonna take it back. but then again, i apologize to everyone for hurting their feelings towards an rvf.

my grandma MODDED me with this religious string on my right wrist saying its for protection after i survived the crash.

 

the way i look at it, its more like a powercut.

 

and ever since i took out the bike, the bike has fall every month.

 

my galfriend has promised me a single seater to my specification if i dont fall for 3 months

hey, its up to you. why dont you do it like a 'street fighter' then? mod some crash bars, take out the fairings. i think its more suited for fooling around then busting your fairings.

 

seriously, have you ever thought about your method of riding? could it be something you are doing wrong? you wont notice it yourself until you get a friend to observe your riding style.

 

most of us dont drop the bikes just riding around in singapore. yes sometimes accidents do happen, but its like a weekly thing for you already. just try to ride slower will ya? it is for your own good after all.

riding posture, i am not sure if suspension has got anything to do with it. my front is lower than my gals bike. but the handle bar not yet dropped.

 

can suspension affect traction. or did i just push beyond the limitation of the bike.

yes it does affect in some way, but as i said before, its VERY easy to get overconfident on the rvf. it handles just like a much smaller bike(imho). maybe you need to just brush up abit on your skills, and not take corners at too high a speed. or maybe it could be your tires? i dont know man.. i just find it weird that one can buang a few times in a short period of time.. maybe you are just unlucky these few months.

have you ever why motogp riders stick out the knee while cornering? a bike travels faster when it's more upright, yet at a corner, centrifugal force will 'push' the bike out...therefore cornering lower does'nt not mean faster...to counter this, shift ur weight to the inside of the turn, this way, you will have enough force to counter the centrifugal force and at the same time make ur bike more upright...

 

dun blast me..i also took this info from bike magezines, then again, dun try this at sillypore roads..
