I would say if you want to buy any performance parts, best to buy from the correct makers. What i mean is example like if you buy watches you would be better off to buy from Casio or Seiko as compared to Guess as Guess is more of a clothing brand and not the other 2 as both are only watches base company and therefore they have mor experience and can give better quality products.

 

mine is Seiko , cos got andy lau ahaha..

Friend of mine says the magnetic coil is easy to spoil. What other problems should i look out for?

there is volt meter at the bike so as long as the batt is not dying and its charging then should be okie. u change the seat le ma? how is the bike? so sad sia... erm... remember to do service reguarly can le and bring back to the doctor who always see it. feel free to ask me anything if u dunno k

KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysia's petrol price will rise 40 percent to 2.70 ringgit (0.84 dollars) a litre from Thursday as controls are removed under a revamped subsidy system, the prime minister said.

 

"Effective from tomorrow, 5 June 2008, the price of petrol will be raised by 78 sen and the price of diesel will be raised by 1.00 ringgit," Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi told a press conference.

 

"The new price of petrol will be 2.70 while the new price of diesel will be 2.50," he said. Petrol currently costs 1.92 ringgit (0.60 dollars) at the pump, among the cheapest in Asia.

 

Domestic Trade Minister Shahrir Samad said that under the new scheme, drivers of smaller vehicles will receive a cash payment to offset the rising costs.

 

"For cars 2000cc and below, they will get back 625 ringgit in cash payments as a form of direct subsidy," he said, adding that this equated to subsidising some 800 litres of fuel.

 

Shahrir said that the new price of 2.70 ringgit did not reflect the full market value, which could be as high as 3.00-4.00 ringgit when the price controls are completely removed in August.

 

He said that the increase would impact on inflation, which came in at 3.0 percent in April.

 

"With this hike, the CPI (consumer price index) is expected to rise to 5.0 percent" this year, he said.

 

The minister said that without the new measure, the government's actual payout for oil subsidies would have totalled 28 billion ringgit this year, and that it will now save some 4.0 billion ringgit.

 

Malaysia has already moved to ban sales of subsidised fuel to Thais and Singaporeans who make trips across the border to fill up their tanks.

 

"We want to pay the subsidy directly to those who deserve them. We do not want foreigners to benefit from our subsidy," Shahrir said.

ok firstly ask urself do u often go track? if not y get a 600cc and let ppl smoke u? unless u go track if not dun take 600..

i would really suggest getting a 1 litre class 2 if u not a frequent track player..

 

and for R1 hmmm y i get leh? because i simply feel it has the nicest outlook then all the other brands of class 2 1 litre.. im not the type who go for the best performance but rather the best outlook

 

if u prefer perfomance than outlook then mai tu liao... get a 08 zx10r(kawasaki!!)

 

i actually wanted to get kanasai 8 one... but the 2 pipes just brush off my idea of getting it... so i would advise u take a look at all the 1 litre bikes and see which one u like from the outlooks... perfomance no need la... all is the same 1 litre bike... how fast can other bike win u?

 

biggest balls makes the different not the bike

In term of design, i do agreed that r6 and r1 have the best outlook. I saw a r6 with racing fairing. damn it. sibei zhan!

 

Ken, if u plan to chu R1, u wait for 2009 model. I saw it at r1 thread posting.
