Well Aprilia bike are more rare in Singapore.

Parts are more expensive. So not many people buy.

Yes Sportcity is really nice. Very modern and yet classic look to it.

Like a vaspa, the leg can rest fully on the floor board.

Yaya, it comes with internal function/gadgets... like inbuilt voltmeter.

I love the classic white for vespa model but never regret for buying sportcity. =)

I am enjoying my Sportcity for its brand and its rarity.

But I must admit I do fancy the new Gilera scoot for its nicer design and looks.

Both using the same engine, so performance is equal.

Posted

Me also using Spocrtcity. Just clocked 1200km. Enjoyed very much. It's a rare breed. Normally people doesn't know what make the bike it is ultil they come closer... then oooo aprilia.

Haha i m happy to see some response here..

haturaya, u consider good le, 1200km.. mine only i think let me see... hmm 3300km since april when i finally start to utilise my bike. haha

yeah i too fancy the new runner but the matt black one.. dun like its red.. unless is all red...

ask u guys a qn: do u all encounter prob when engine is at idling, the bike tend to wobble quite a fair bit?

i find it is for mine case...

While talking about Aprilia bikes, wat i know is that not say that the bike is no good but the problems is that the spare parts too expensive...That's why very rare on S'pore rd...am i rite???

The cost of a new RS125 is around 12 or 13+ if i not mistaken...That's just 125cc bike....If u add a bit more, u can get a new HONDA SPEC 3 ....

Am i rite bro????

:cheeky:

yes u r rite..aprilia spare parts are expensive. But if u compare the price of their scooters from other makes, its slightly expensive..maybe about $500 more. Maybe because of its brand name Aprilia.

but thankfully, Aprilia uses Piaggio Engine for their scooters. So if internal parts of the engine need to be replaced, i guess its easy to find and it wont be expensive i tink. if external body parts like transmission cover, front cover, headlights, are damaged then maybe it will b costly to replace. As long as u never kena accident, its ok.

Maybe somebody from Mah Motor can correct me if im wrong..:cheeky:

then if more ppl ride it, then become common already. here and there, u see ppl riding the same bike. then no more rare breed. dont u feel proud and special riding your bike?

well

u can;t compare a cb 400 to RS 125..

all must know 2 stroke many a time is equal to 2 time it cc. thus it is a 250cc within. tat why it is so ex. furthermore it is a new design.

however a rs 125cc on top or when cb 400 opens the vtec most prob will lose it already. anyway not adviseable to speed ya.

================

back to sport city..

ya agree it is a fun bike to ride with great mileage.

some like it for it rare breed, some like it for the design.

well i like it cos it is of something personal.
