Got a problem.... My bike after its servicing, will start to vibrate around 4000- 5000 rpm. My friends says that it might be something loose, but the problem now is locating that "loose item" riding a super 4 spec III . Can anyone with experience advise on what is the usual suspects??

People See things as they are and ask ....Why?

I dream things that are never were and ask ...Why Not??

Live to Ride!!!

MY VTEC III, MY BEST FRIEND, trusted, dependable and would take me wherever i want to go.

depends on ur preference lor... can adjust one mah.... i prefer nearer

adjust nearer is fine.. fast in changing gear as compare clutch is adjust futher away.. but one thing.. clutch plate will wear off faster than usual....unless u like fast pick.. maintain position. always if u knw how to do it right... there is no "Tak" sound when u change gear. most riders haf.. :goodluck:

A good n experiance rider change gear without sound. but sometimes it may happen. hehe

i dont tink they dare do anything lah cause i threaten them with the law tht time also, thts how i got away without paying

since u feel u dnt like the feeling of ur clutch cable, then make it nearer lor.

1st time poster here. Got a question to ask, don't know which thread to write under.

How do you know when it's time to change clutch and brake cables?

My s4 just reached 40k km, just past 2 years old. My cables still feel ok, but still wondering if it's time to change.

Or if don't change, how to maintain it?

thanks

power sia.......8 yrs never wash carb........wonder how dirty is will b when u open it up........:help:

10 000km is the guideline to wash n tune carb....another way to c is if u feel ur bike power output not smooth, bike jerky n after changing splug air filter still no effect then mostly is the carb liao......if u can find a gd shop to do tuning, go n let them tune ur carb...... confirm gt diff after tuning one........why i noe, cos i try b4.......my bike after run in i go n tune liao.......after tat the pick up is like......:giddy:

ask those who try with mi b4 n u noe wat i mean........

most ORIGINAL S4 clutch cable can last quite long, definetly longer than 2 yrs. brake cable no need change liao unless u find urs the rubber like tear off or cracking lor, then if wanna change, might as well change to steel braided hose

but my mechanic gave me a frank advice, neva to touch the carbs if it doesn't provide any probs. he told me tis though he can make money out of tuning an easy cash of $60-$80. good petrol or the additives for cleanning ur carb is more than good to clean ur carbs. only tunin needed to be noted.
